Flea Market Score

I either got scammed by the gypsies or I made off like a bandit. Paid 35€ for this. Does it look legit? Found at a flea market in Budapest, Hungary. Really liked the dial and patina on the case (slightly orange, guessing bronze or brass?). Any help identifying model at all? Chat GPT said it looked like a legit Komandirskie
and all original (except strap). I’m looking to maybe service it when I get back in the states if it’s solid. Thoughts?

Forgive me father…

…for I have SINNed. Bought at Die Uhrmacherei in Vienna, Austria. 🇦🇹

Sinn 104

I also got a Longines HC a few days ago, was fortunate to pick that up at Wempe in Munich. I was really looking for a Sinn before I went home to the US, glad I could find one. Came for the 556rs, but the 104 just spoke to me. They had a strap on it, but the bracelet was just so interesting looking I couldn’t leave without it.

Update: Got the Watch

Picked up this baby from Wempe in Munich yesterday. This was the only model in stock, but it was just so good looking I had to.

I originally ordered this watch from Teddy BS in early April. Was quoted 6-8 weeks, then was told after 8 weeks that it could be months until they get allocation and they couldn’t provide me more of an update. I was frustrated with their lack of communication, decided to cancel my order.

I knew I was coming to Germany, so I figured “Maybe I’ll find a good retailer and pick up a Sinn?” Well, walked halfway around downtown Munich yesterday and not a single retailer could I find Sinn at. The one I had planned to go to (and ChatGPT recommended) was out of business or moved locations.

I was only here one more day and wouldn’t be able to shop around again, so I decided to check out other brands. The next store I stopped at was about to close, but I saw that they retailed the Hydroconquest. I asked about it, the lady took me to a table, and brought out their only model - blue on blue. I tried some other pieces, some Nomos watches and a Tudor, but the Longines had already grabbed me. I pulled the trigger and here we are.

Now, me and this watch have a story. No more months of waiting, heck I even got this watch CHEAPER because it was tax free coming from the EU. €2.150 out the door, €250 I’ll get back.
