I realize every possible option would not be feasible to make, but say you could mix and match? What would be the perfect combination for you?
Mine would be a Dark Amber, with a Gotoh, silver hardware, white pickups (maybe the standard SD's, not sure), caramelized maple neck, non-caramelized fretboard, and stainless frets.

Got this used DK24 the other day. Didn't come with the actual trem arm, but I will have that later today, so I can get the Gotoh set up properly.
Which brings me to question 1: One of the studs for the trem is damaged, Are these studs universal for all 510? The Charvel site lists it as a "custom" 510.
Question 2: As seen in the second pic, near the head, there is some "left over" finish from the head. Apparently this is not that uncommon, although it seems to vary how far down on the neck it goes.
It is not a big issue, but could I remove it gently with steel wool or some very fine sand paper?
Otherwise loving the neck!, feels amazing! I had a Parker fly way back, which had the same radius fingerboard that I knew I really liked. Some things are way easier to do on this neck than on my older Yahama rgx.
Also liking the tone option the 5 way +series/parallell switch gives. I was always a HH kind of guy, but a more single coil ish tone is great for some kinds of material, like cleaner, funkier stuff.
Looking for tips on budget friendly, thin necked guitars.
I currently own a Yamaha rgx612. Nothing wrong with it, but the neck is unfortunately not as nice as the Parker Fly I stupidly sold back in 2012 (I've not played guitar again until earlier this year). As much as I'd like a Fly again, the prices are wild these days.
Now, the fly neck is my dream neck, simply perfect for my hand. I also remember trying a Ibanez RG770 way back and liking it a lot, though weirdly not liking the RG760, even though they should have a similar neck...
Other than that, I guess my preference is simply a super strat shape, with two humbuckers.
One of my issues is living in Norway, and not in a larger city, so I'm very limited to trying guitars in shops, and the used market is limited too.
I posted a while back, but that picture was a bit outdated even then. Since then I got a new, full height bookshelf, the first seven volumes of Chainsaw man, and a couple more issues of Dorohedoro (21 is on the way. I also managed to find the Claymore box heavily discounted!
