Another A Light in the Dark Problem

So, looking at the Subreddit there are quite a few failed the Quest like me, I've played like 16 hours before failing that, I'm wondering if I miss much by continuing where some other quest gets locked out etc, I feel sad, but don't want to start over. I'm not Achievement hunting, but I've thought I could've 100% the game, it was kind of sucker punch really.

I really won't mind a delay for 1.0

From the first 1.0 update video(obviously more to come, but still) I have to say that I'm not blown away by upcoming changes at all. I feel like this game need much more changes for 1.0 release and I wouldn't mind if they cook it little bit more. I know this year was Survival game year, with lots of new releases and 1.0 releases, but rushing it would get recieved worse.

Variety(Enemy-loot, both needs heavy addition and changes)

Progression(too easy to skip sections to go higher tier area)

Combat and Skill tree(self explanatory, they feel bad even after multiple changes)

Movement options(no mounts or actually functional grappling hook)

Addition of New weapon types(1h-2h Spear-Pike is just out there, cmon)

NPC actually contributing(no economy, no tasks; they just walk around makin "sim" noises in the base)

QoL(Archaic Forge build, Item Quality upgrades, Crafting feeling overall useless when it comes to Weapons/Armor)

And obviously Performance

I feel like this is far above the scale they have used to give with Updates, and I much prefer a complete release. I know many are excited, but giving devs time would be more positive.

Why are late game enemies so tanky?

I'm a solo player; I've played the game at hardest difficulty for combat sandbox setting, There was challenge, but it was manageable, but now I can't clear mobs without using tons of ammo, and crafting them also gets expensive with backtracking to do. Do I need to drop the difficulty?

Challange mode is cool and all, but Enemies really need a buff on Movement and Agressiveness department for harder difficulties.

They are so easy to kite away with tons of tools, but player doesn’t need to be nerfed, or enemy stats doesn’t need to buffed, real change should be on action basis for enemies. Enemies need a better reach for combat. This could be above veteran difficulty, if people find it annoying as well.

What do y’all think?
