New

Hey everyone!

I recently started working as a truck driver, driving across Canada and the United States. Since I spend most of my time in the US, I’ve naturally become more curious about American culture and sports.

Recently, I had a conversation with another truck driver about American football, and it really got me interested in the sport. I’d love to learn more about it, but as someone who is completely new to football, I’m not really sure where to start.

How would you recommend getting into the sport from scratch? What would you focus on first to understand the rules, teams, and overall culture surrounding football?

I’m also curious about something else: If you were a complete newcomer to American football, which team would you choose to support, and why?

One thing worth mentioning is that I might be moving to Missouri within the next few years, so I’m also wondering whether that should influence my choice of team.

I’d really appreciate any advice, recommendations, or personal experiences. Thanks in advance!

One day at Vancouver

Hi,

If someone would be coming for a day, what would you recommend to see and in which order? It will be this Sunday.

Uber will be main transport source, and walking obviously if it won’t be too far from the place.

A person refuses to leave the house

Hi everyone,

I’m renting a house and handed a notice to agency a month a go to give it back on 13th of June.

I was renting a room to one guy, he wasn’t on the contract with agency, only I’ve been. Agency wanted to add him last July, passed all his information to them to do that but they never done.

I’m giving back house to agency next week and have a feeling this guy won’t move out or still will be inside during final inspection and handing the keys. He has been told a month ago as well to leave.

What can be done right now? I informed agency straight away that it could be possible when they come.

New supporter!

Hello everyone!

I’m moving to Canada in July and my final destination where I will be based will be Surrey, BC. I was watching hockey as much it was possible due to time zone here from the Europe and been learning all about the game. As a boy raised on football I was very passionate about it, still I am as I’m Tottenham fan 15 years, but hockey was the second one and recently got really passionate about it too. Not gonna lie, loved the game.

As Canucks will be the closest to me to support, obviously when possible I would like to see some games live and obviously will be watching games from home too.

What would you recommend or advise to learn/see about the team, going for the games? If you would compare Canucks to some football team in the Europe based on what the team is, potential, talents and stuff then what would it be?

I’ve been reading about the position in the draft we have incoming. How important is it for incoming season and what transfer politic the team has?

I’m happy to read all the comments, advises and please don’t judge me as all that “culture” is new to me.

Thank you!
