I really find myself getting frustrated with the Bobs for not just…wiping them out. Someone attempting to force me? CONTROL me by hacking my mind? That is something that presents an existential threat, and must be removed.

it would be one thing if they had a good point, or addressed an issue in the bobiverse that needed it (like killmonger from the Black Panther movies) but deciding well for everyone I get to make all the decision because I know best…you get to be scrap metal.

I’ve never done something like this before but here goes. I have this idea for a space marine chapter that I have been working on fleshing out for quite some time inspired by Maori culture. I have now found a company that will create water transfer sheets with custom designs on them and that’s where you could come in!

[BUDGET] $150-$350 (flexible for the right artist)

I am looking for someone to create the chapter badge and squad designation badges for my customer space marine chapter the Ngāti Tūmatauenga. They are heavily inspired by Maori culture and aesthetics particularly traditional carving, Kōwhaiwhai patterns, and themes of warfare and guardianship and ancestry.

What I Need:

1. A unique chapter badge/emblem for use on space marine shoulder pads

2. Several different Squad markers to differentiate between types of units and leaders

3. initial sketches

4. at least one revision round

5. final artwork delivered in vector format

6. the designs must be recognizable when reduced to approximately 8MM across for miniature waterslide transfers

what I am NOT looking for

1. Direct copies of existing tribal markings that would be culturally insensitive to use on my models

2. generic “tribal“ clip art

I would love to work with someone who has done either minis work before or (preferably) has experience with Maori culture and art.

I have a ton of material that I have in my files about the culture and colors that I am happy to share as well.

Hi all!

Wish I wasn’t in this position but it seems like I have to get a new car. I’ve owned my 2018 Forester Touring XT since I bought him new and I’ve put almost 300k miles on him. I’m approximately 1500 short which galls me, but the transmission is gone.

One of the big things I’ve been concerned about with newer cars is the propensity for everything to be an App, features to become subscriptions and paywalled, and safety features that are actually marketing invasions of privacy.

How much of this stuff have you all noticed with your 2026’s? I‘m thinking about getting the 2026 Outback Touring XT (or maybe the wilderness)

can you permanently disable the face scanners? Does the car ”update” itself?
