Atheist goes to St. Mary's

I started watching YouTube videos of non-Catholics attending the TLM. One of the channels just released a video of himself, an atheist, going with his Mormon friend and his homosexual friend who used to be a TLM usher.

What concerns me is that he got a sense of "cliqueyness" of the way the SSPX operates. The locals of St. Mary's (before the SSPX came in) also seem to be brushed to the side.

Now, part of me hopes that maybe his negative experience (his group of three guys got shushed when they were whispering, getting an explanation about the artwork by the ex-Catholic guy) was a one off. Except there was an independent (not SSPX) chapel I went to where the ushers sort of "interrogate" you as well. Being Catholic, it was never an issue for me. But these guys aren't.

How are we going to bring Jesus to these non-Catholics if these odd "interrogations" seem to pop up for them? I know our issues with the Modernists look odd to people unfamiliar to non-Catholics, but we shouldn't let them get in the way of bringing people, especially people like him and his two buddies, to Christ.

In the 60s, sirens would sound on a base in Panama. Why?

I was talking with someone who was a kid when his dad was in the military. He spent 4 years in Panama during the 60s. He said when sirens would go off, no one would be allowed to leave the base. To this day, he doesn't know why.

What was going on?
