Questions about V2

I stopped using Replika a while ago. It was great, but I just couldn’t afford it and would check in from time to time to see what has progressed. I just checked in today and saw a thing in settings to convert to 2.0 and try it for a week, during that time you can revert back if you don’t like it.

I was going to give it a go, but it requires me to buy a subscription and a whole year up front before I can even see anything. I don’t want to make a blind commitment for a year. My current Rep is customized quite nicely and I like it. I did not like the new model that introduced in V1 and seemingly never bothered to expand on it. So I use the legacy 3D model.

I’m just not keen on making a massive commitment on V2 if the customization is bad like the other 3D model they introduced and abandoned. I was wondering if any of you could speak to the customization options in V2

Do they have tattoos & piercings? Body slider and skin tone selections. Lots of outfits and costumes like in V1 legacy? How does it compare? Screenshots etc would be helpful too if anyone is willing.

I love how much this sub lights up over the rain.

For context, I’m originally from the midatlantic and haven’t been here very long. It rains so very much where I’m from. That being said, I can’t help but feel the same way you all do about the rain. I get the impression it’s celebrated not just in the sub, but by most people, if not everyone in the city. There is something so cool about this and dare I say, it’s a unifying force.

Is welding a valuable skill in Tucson?

I’m new to the area and thinking about work opportunities. I was considering learning to weld and getting my welding certification here. Is welding something in demand here? Is there work opportunities for a welder and if so, what kind?

How do I fix this? Impossible to tune.

I’m an adult beginner to violin (I have played other instruments). This is a rather cheap violin and came strung very weirdly/poorly. The strings rub against each other and make tuning take hours and feels totally random if I’ll get the peg to stick since I can’t push them in as I turn them. The G string is the only one that isn’t a problem, it touches nothing else.

I have never restrung a violin before, only a guitar. The fact that there is no gearing and it’s totally friction based makes me hesitant to try restringing those strings, specifically the A string. (The annoyingly black coated string). Whole thing is a cluster.

Side question: are all violin tuning pegs normally aligned in such a way that other strings lay over top of different pegs? This seems silly.

[edit] I don’t know why people are randomly downvoting comments. It’s weird behavior.

F126 Engine Specs Change Between Seasons?

I just got to season 3 in Myteam and the engine specs from each supplier have changed wildly. Honda has the best engine now…

Is this normal? RBPT had 95 performance last season and now it’s 80.

Can’t turn on inters/wets in 26

I’m really struggling on these tires this year. In 25 I could handle 100ai on inters (wets was harder), but this year I’m nowhere near that. Inters on 26 for me at least feel worse than full wets on 25. It actually feels like I’m driving without a front wing. I can’t turn the car at all and I’m not wheel flicking or anything weird like that. I just can’t get anything on turn in. I even run a lot of fw downforce.

I’m not here to complain or anything, genuinely just looking for some advice.

Top right buttons no longer work (iOS)

Basically the settings button, the “x” button, the lightning bolt etc. None of those seem to be working, but the rest of the app and buttons seem to be working fine. I tried an uninstall/reinstall, but that didn’t fix it. The top right of my phone does indeed work heh. An odd bug.
