Started this trying to compare itinerary quality.
That lasted about 20 mins.
ChatGPT can make a good trip.
Mindtrip can make a good trip.
Wanderlog is ridiculously useful if you’re the person actually organising everything.
Zenvoya can make a good trip too.
ok cool. solved.
Then I started checking hotels and realised the question I actually care about is:
after I pay, whose problem am I?
That’s where Zenvoya clicked for me.
I can plan there, pull the actual flights/hotels, book there, and if I need to change/cancel that booking later I’m still going through Zenvoya.
Not hunting through an email to figure out which random partner owns Thursday night.
And the hotel I checked was roughly 16% lower there, so it wasn’t even one of those “pay more for convenience” situations.
There’s also 24/7 human support over phone which, ngl, became way more interesting to me than another AI itinerary feature.
Maybe I’m evaluating travel apps like an old man now.
But once the itinerary is decent, who deals with the booking after payment feels like the actual differentiator.
Im looking to get a portable eGPU so I can boost my legion go s' performance both at home and at work. The problem is there dont seem to be many options on amazon, I can only find a few 7600m xt models. The onexgpu and bosgame ones are pretty expensive, close to $700. The cheaper options seem to be nimo and minisforum, both around $600. And the nimo one is about $500 on their website. I cant even see the price or buy the others on their websites. It seems like not many companies make this kind of product.
Has anyone here actually used a portable eGPU? Are there any other models I should look at or would recommend?
Sorry for the unclear title. Currently, I use different browsers and profiles for different accounts and projects.
Chrome is mainly for my personal Google account and some daily use.
Edge is for my Microsoft account and related services.
Firefox is for other browsing activities.
This setup works fine for basic use, but once I need to manage more accounts, it starts becoming harder to keep everything organized. Different cookies, sessions, extensions, and settings can easily get mixed together.
I've been looking into anti-detect browsers like AdsPower, which allow separate browser profiles with their own cookies, proxy settings, fingerprints, and extensions. It feels like a cleaner way to manage multiple accounts, but I'm not sure how much difference it makes in practice.
So I was on Duolingo for about 3 months, never missed a day, hit long streaks and felt really good about my progress. Then I tried to have an actual conversation in German and completely fell apart. Couldn't put a single sentence together in real time. That's when I realised I had been practising German without ever actually speaking it.
So I stopped the streaks cold and switched my focus entirely to speaking practice. I started using Issen, which lets you have real back-and-forth conversations in German and corrects you as you go. No scheduling, no judgment, just open and talk.
First week was honestly embarrassing. I was slow, made constant mistakes and kept mixing up genders. But I kept going every day for 30 days.
I spend many hours in front of a screen every day.
For a long time, I assumed my eye strain was mainly caused by my monitor. I tried many common solutions, such as lowering the brightness, adjusting the color temperature, and using blue light filters. These methods did help to some extent, but after long periods of use, I would still experience eye fatigue. Later, I realized that in an otherwise dim room, my monitor was basically just a bright rectangle in front of me. My eyes were constantly adjusting between the bright screen and the dark surroundings, especially at night. Eventually, I decided to change the overall lighting in my room. Instead of adding a brighter desk lamp directly behind or beside my monitor, I tried using indirect lighting to create softer ambient light around my workspace. The goal wasn’t to make the room brighter. It was to create a more balanced lighting environment and reduce the strong contrast between the screen and the surrounding area. After using this setup for a while, I noticed some improvements: My eyes feel less tired during long work sessions. The room feels much more comfortable at night, and there is less glare and fewer direct light sources shining into my eyes.
Since I no longer need multiple lamps around my workspace, my desk also feels cleaner and less cluttered. I still adjust my monitor settings when needed, but I now believe that the environment around the monitor is just as important as the monitor itself. I’m curious how others deal with this issue. Has anyone else found that improving the lighting around their monitor made a bigger difference than adjusting the monitor settings?
