Missing graphics for ice walls?

I assume the walls are not supposed to look like this. The missing textures are supposed to be translucent ice? It's like this in most of Asterkarn. This is the only problem I've had with the graphics with this update so far.

Does this type of checkmate have a name?

I'm still new to chess and I have done this checkmate a few times, it's my favourite one that I like to try once my opponent has castled.
