Mystery box. Sigh.

I’m happy about the towels, so that’s nice! And my son said, “Well, we have two nice housewarming gifts if we know anyone moving…”

Car wash weirdness…

For reference I drive a 2016 405, but that doesn’t matter. What matters - I do not close my panoramic shade. At all. Ever. It’s not broken or damaged, I just know the entire system is “sensitive” and I leave the shade alone. But also, I like it open. Twice I’ve taken her to a particular full service car wash/detailing place, and both times the panoramic shade has been closed at pick up. The first time I thought it was weird, but hey you know? They did a great, FAST job and the price was great. The second time I got in and asked WHY it was closed. Otherwise I’m completely satisfied with the washes, esp happy with the interior detailing, and tipped well both times. BUT. Why is the shade closed? Dude starts hemming and hawing and says, “It closed by itself.” I mean, WHAT? If he’d said he touched the button during the interior wipe down and it started closing, then okay that’s what happened. Or if he said he didn’t know what happened. Then he dug in, said “When the car got wet, it just closed.” I’ve washed my car PLENTY of times and the shade didn’t magically close by itself. The conversation ended with me saying I’d prefer the shade wasn’t moved or touched. But the more I think about it, the weirder it seems. I’m not even UPSET about it, just curious as to why it’s happening. Any thoughts on why he doubled down with a MORE ridiculous second explanation? And if your Rover does magic tricks when it gets wet, please tell me because that’s obviously something I should know 😂

Suckling Pig on an 850?

Trying to plan for our annual Christmas party for around 75 ppl. There will be other proteins. Is this a bad idea? It’s either the best idea I’ve ever had or a disaster in the making. Have you done this? What size hog did you get? If the hog won’t fit (you must acquit 😂) could I cut it? I know cutting it defeats the purpose but the choice would be cut it or pitch the hog, which I wouldn’t do. Should I order a hog during the summer and practice? Do a dry run to see how things go? I want to do this so badly, but it’s pricey so I don’t want to ruin it - on multiple levels.

Mixing Pellet Types - Is this okay?

I am finishing off a bag off a cherry - meaning the last of the bag is in the smoker pellet hopper now. The only bag I have left is competition blend. Mixing these two won't affect the flavor of the meat, right? I'm smoking a pork shoulder, if that matters. Thanks!
