We all get wattpad reels on our feed - which is a way of someone promoting their story and it does help okay. Some of them get a lot of views and likes.

There are some genuinely good ones, some fine and some just...too brainrot.

But idk...why whenever I see someone posting an extremely corny or a really thirsty reel hiding nothing when I say nothing I mean nothing using Real people's pictures and then I see that person ending up seeing and commenting on that reel I feel moritified even though it has nothing to do with me.

Like I literally face palm myself actually.

There was this reel about fl getting pampered by ml and him telling her with his eyes softening since she herself was a baby then she can't have one with a random ahh face of a biker.

He ended up seeing the reel and replied - Thanks 🙊🙊🙊👀👀👀. Because the reel blew up.

Idk if the author used his face really from Pinterest or insta but I was so embarrassed even the bg was a sensual music, really romantic.

There was this one long ago I saw a reel which was rather a thirsty one and the man commented - are ye to main hu 😅😅😅 or smth like that.

I didn't dare read comment section of wattpad reels for quiet some time after each of these incidents.

Sometimes the people being used as faceclaims take it positively, some use it to flirt and thirst trap more and some give replies showing they are shocked, uncomfy or use ???

This thing is not that common but whenever it happens whatever the reel maybe, I hit the I-show speed face automatically😖😖😖.

Like I be telling myself "girl it's none of your concern, what if the author likes it or finds it ok, its fine then" but I still can't help feeling the embarrassment as if I've been the one using random men for thirsty reels and they end up discovering it- even thinking this makes my body take a whole ahh screenshot in embarrassment.

Just as in title, what's the scariest book you've ever read or come across on wattpad? Here the fear factor isn't limited to a certain genre.

It could be anything—Whether in terms of paranormal, thriller, romance or any particular scene or even if it was based on horrifying things that do happen around us.

As for me I have two—

First was a spooky book where I was reading about real life haunted places and the legends behind it in a wattpad book. I was just reading it for fun when I came across this particular bridge - it looked oddly dark, dull and just.... Odd. My comment is still there on that book about that image. Apparently this bridge was famous for dogs committing from what I remember and maybe humans too. I read this part pretty later, I firstly just looked at the image and the immediate bad vibes I got was something I just couldn't shake. My eyes were narrowing on their own, my head also felt dizzy and I felt pretty uncomfortable and just negative and odd. I thoughts it was my mind playing tricks but I did it sometime again later and the result was same. Idk to this day wth it was.

Second was a fictional book in the category of thriller (don't exactly remember or maybe dark)as I remember that was related to real life disturbing crimes that happen around us. In this story, there lived a couple with two kids- an elder daughter and younger son. When they were sleeping at night, some thieves broke into their home, stole their stuff, beat them up pretty badly and also kidnapped the girl. The girl was 16-19 I'm assuming. After they kidnapped her, the thieves were defined as conventionally attractive so I was like is the author gonna romanticize it again? Anyways after they kidnapped her they took her deep into the forest at their houses where they did illegal work to gain money and they... 🍇 her. It was so sickening. She was thrown around, abused and stuff. They also had other girls coming and going and ig some of them they themselves sold to other men or pimped out . One of them then started getting obsessed with her and getting jealous of his other partners violating her. She was strong at start but started becoming soft and I feared that this was another sick romanticization.At the end this dude ends up killing others and getting Injured himself with some other of his friends surviving and while they were injured the fl who had made the dude believe she was comfortable around him and liked him ran away with all her might and had fooled him cleverly. I remember the very last scene including her in the court standing opposite them as the dude looks at her with betrayal filled eyes and " love" 🤮🤮🤮 saying she belongs to him but she bravely spoke against them in the court and looked him in the eye with hate and courage saying " I don't belong to anyone and it's time for your Karma." The men got hanged and she ig after that turned stronger,wiser and started helping other people speak up who had been exploited, manipulated and trafficked. This was so terrifying and gave me chills because of how realistically the story was written and how isolated and trapped the girl really was. I guess it happened for almost a year or for some years to her. Scarred yet a strong fmc.

Same as the title above, what's the most spineless thing a female lead has ever done in a wattpad novel that you came across?

I know they give each other tough competition in that.

As for me, one was where in a popular book fl was out of a traumatizing marriage and then got married to a guy who was still in love with his ex wife still she kept clinging onto him embarrassingly while all he did was treat her cruelly and told her on her face that he only has place for ex wife (dead)in his heart and she was the only mother of his baby while the fl like an idiot still kept confessing her love and feelings ( its a very popular book)

And the second was where ml was abu$ing fl but she was thinking that 'I'm still important to him that's why he's doing this' and then asked him when they'll go on a date ( I wish it wasn't real but it was)

As someone who's comfortable in reading anything whether it's a bxb, bxg and gxg, I'm so confused why aren't there Indian gl writers on wattpad or maybe there are but I think they are pretty less.

But at the same time I also know one of the reasons why —it's because gl isn't as loved or popular as bxg and bl which is really sad but true. I really hope they also get same treatment sooner.

There are chances of seeing a bl side couple in a straight story but almost little to no chances of seeing a gl couple there.

Still I'd really like seeing desi representation of gl too guys.

I'm up for anything, what ever is there if you know any bl/ gl that's actually good and plus points if it's desi.

As said in title, suggest me bl novels where mc/ml isn't treated like a girl with a dihh or it isn't just straight story with some fruitiness or doesn't ignore the fact that its a bxb romance.

I'm so tired of such stories where it's basically a straight story with a male mc (who's basically just girl with different organ). Like are we ignoring its a bl dude? Or those stories that are too illogical and avoid the fact it's bxb. Like wdym if the sister ran away from wedding you're replacing her with her younger brother?? Ain't no one doing that and not especially without asking the ml if he's bi or not.

Sure feminine and shy introverted guy isn't a bad thing but to make it a whole fetish is—like the mc is a man but acts completely like a girl or he's basically written or acts like a child so the romance feels so wrong.

Happy, direct to business, romances are fine. But I wanna read bls where the leads acknowledge that it's a man they're is falling for, the hesitation,angst, denial, turmoil, acceptance— I want it all.

Not oh small bean innocent timid Rahul 4'9 met alpha posessive Sid who's 6'9 after his sister ran away from wedding and replaces her as the "bride"(I'm sure since he's a man, he would be a groom as well but fine...) and then he gets preggo.

Like I despise toxic ml/ family members a lot but the bestfriends of ml and fl on wattpad generate a whole new level of hatred in me.

1)They'll always give bullshit advices. If the ml is a jerk or abu$er instead of trying to save the fl or doing anything to stop the ml, both the ml and fl's friends are out here telling her to hold onto him still and he's hers to deal with. Like do you even understand what being a friend means or you've directly skipped basic lessons and all?

"Omg plz hold on he loves you😭😭😭😭🥰🥰🥰" Yup as he proceeds to throw her harshly to a wall again with enough force to cause concussion.

Like if this is love, I'm better off seeing the hate .

2)The so called ml's bestfriend omg. Like you know damn well he's choosing to wrong her still this person is gonna be like.

"He's just tensed/stressed."

"He didn't mean those words. "

"He didn't mean to push you harshly. "

But yk what, I'll definitely mean it when I'll push you down from the 31st floor.😘😘😘

3)The garbage level friends of fls telling her to chase/ fight for a man who always keeps demeaning her and Rejecting her.

"Don't give up on him, he just hasn't realised it yet."

" True love never comes easy"

"He's just afraid so he pushes you away, I know he feels something."

Yeah, and so will you when I will add rat poison to your food😍😍😍

4. Revealing their friends secret to ml or any person as if its some casual talk over tea.

Like omg I remember reading a book where the ml wasn't nice and the fl had been S@'ed in past.

It was her thing to share okay. Even the dumbest person knows that.

And I think ml and fl had a fight where fl broke into tears and then the best friend comes outta nowherre revealing it....

Like WTF!!!

Not even the fl's enemy would do it and here is her bestfriend-someone she trusts revealing her secret so easily as if she's narrating a recipe.

One was where ml threw some garbage quality words at fl and she ran away.

Then this faster than a bullet train character comes running as if they had been set on fire saying-

"Do you know she's pregnant with your baby /she has cancer /she is a drug dealer/she is silent mafia king "

I'm sure with the way you're screaming like a crow he does ❤

Or

Because the best friend of the ml/fl is dating the the bestfriend of the love interest then also they'll reveal any thing to the love interest.

Like suppose yk those situations, where fl has enough of the suffering and finally goes away, everyone is hiding where she is.

Then this oompa loompa appears outta no where saying—

"Y/N is hiding 30 kms South west to place named ganjapur where she sells charas for a living 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺"

And by that time the ml hasn't even asked her to tell her but she has to open her big mouth.

Worst of all, is telling about the love of the mc to love interest.

Like how hard is it to mind your own business? Was that your place to tell? Are you their Unconcieved child from future or what?

And always with that constipated face as if they'd stepped on gobar.

" Do you have any Idea of how much she/he loves you and promised to love you till her/his last breathe? "

Well he/she didn't because the mc did a good enough job of hiding it but you vommited it out clearly. 😘😘😘

"He'll die because of how deeply he/she loves you. "

And you would've by my hands if I could enter into the book 😀😀😀

5)Look crushes are a part of normal and fictional life okay?

It's common to tease your friend and all and help her feel better / give comfort when that crush has a close relationship with someone else.

But wdym you're encouraging her and supporting in her thought that he /she unofficially just belongs to her/him as if a piece of furniture 🤡🤡🤡

They'll hate on any girl/guy that comes to talk to the mc's crush even if the person is nice and doesn't mean anything bad.

"Haww! Look at her/him how dare she/he blink in the same room as your crush 😡😡😡"

"How dare she/he even look at him/her? 🤬🤬🤬"

"What a fake person, doing it for attention and all, let's teach her/him a lesson we know your crush has eyez for you only😤😤😤"

Well, loosers if he/she did then it wouldn't be a crush ❤

And all these best friend whether girls or guys are holy pick me's.

"She's/he's just stone he/she can't compare to you, you're a diamond."

And you're goat poop ❤.

I also hate that they jump in to make the characters realize their love. Like I wanna see the character go through realization, turmoil, confusion, acceptance. Not for you to deliver their feelings to them like zomato.

Yk what, If I was ever given a chance to rewrite the fate of these characters.

Just after three chapters into their entry, I'll end their existence in the book ❤

For example-

Bhediya rathore/ Khujli sharma was walking down the road to visit her/his bestfriend.

They didn't notice gobar on the floor.

They slipped.

Fell into a manhole.

Died.

No heart wrenching pain. No tears of sorrow. No sad music, nothing.

ML and Fl would frown, one tear slip, then frown with an "okay? "As they move forward with their cliche dhom tananna story.

Seriously though, I feel like even the villains of story unless an abuser or someone who truly did something evil are way better than these people.

They are just here for authors to extend the story.

Suhagan- (A colors serial, promoting EMA)

Ghkkpm ( just multiple rounds of ml who loves someone else and fl and long long confusing circles of how they end up falling for each other through obstacles or what ever)

Kkb- Well I may sound judgmental but I think second gen felt off to me.

So Rank the naagins according to their falling in love journey from top to bottom, that is, from the one which made most sense to you, convincing, beautiful and comforting to one which made no sense at all, illogical and straight up rubbish.

I'll go first.

Bela- Definitely at the top of my list. Her journey from hating, hesitating to falling in love with Mahir was so amazingly written and made sense it was fab. Like I'd get why she felt dilemma over him and why would she fall for him? He was absolutely perfect, sweet and her soulmate. And her hate till she kept doubting, blaming him also made sense.

Shivanya- The turmoil, the hesitation, the denial then acceptance and confidence, fighting for it gosh Shivanya aka Mouni roy portrayed that so convincingly. Plus her reasons were valid and all the emotions that she showed was valid af. And Ritik really was trying to win her heart except he did mess up at times but it's fine.

Nia- I think we didn't see this season in a way completely because of covid. Otherwise she had perfect reason to doubt and be wary of him and hesitate and to start seeing him in a negative light ( although pure hate made sense but since she knew him before so complete hate all of a sudden seemed fast) but I think her falling in love would be convincing enough if makers went nicely about it.

Bani- look I love their chemistry- Veer bani chemistry was nice. But she did love jay before and in previous life. In fact in previous life she had no positive emotions related to veer. So these positive emotions suddenly because Veer married her and jay betrayed her idk seems a bit confusing. I mean she literally had such strong hatred for him and then she fell for him here. Maybe she didn't knew him before but now does so that's why? So what was it with Jay then?

Pratha/ Ananta- Do I even have to say anything? Both were despo for mls who directly or indirectly hurt them or their heart. Like other than these ml's looks, nothing seemed reasonable enough for these fls to love them. Pratha I can get feeling guilty but love? For a guy who's either mocking her or hurting her or choosing his ex gf? And ananta? Who believed Aryaman was involved in her death and helped his family to kill hers? What did she even had left to love in him? It's not like before her transformation they had some really awesome bond. It was just very few kindness from him and there she goes with her one sided liking. Doesn't that mean if anyone showed her kindness she'd also fall for them? And even the attempt to make her look fire seemed weak to me she still looked love sick. As if like if Aryaman told her to drop the plan to kill his family members and he'd accept her, she actually would.
