I'm new to CSE investing. I would like to know if people in Sri Lanka do day trading on the CSE.
If you do day trading, are you doing well? Is it working here in the SL CSE?
Hello Guys
I'm trying to learn how this business works.
How do wholesalers import electronics from China, find suppliers, handle shipping and customs, and sell them in Sri Lanka?
Where can I learn about this business? Any source
Also, how do importers find retailers or shops in Sri Lanka that buy in wholesale?
Would appreciate advice from anyone with real experience. Thanks!
Hi guys. Quick background.
Mid 20s. Doing a weekend top up degree. Moved to Colombo from Kandy.
A bit introverted. Dead broke right now.
My skills: content creation for social media, video editing, storytelling. Pretty solid eye for creativity too.
Problem: zero connections in Colombo. Don't know where to start freelancing.
Where should I look for first clients? any advice
I’ve seen a lot of Sri Lankan Valorant players, but I rarely see anyone playing Counter Strike. Does CS not really have a scene in SL anymore?
Even Gamer.LK mostly hosts Valorant and mobile game tournaments now. Feels like there’s no major support for PC esports titles in Sri Lanka anymore, but Gamer.LK did a pretty good job back in the day and the scene felt more active then.
Any thoughts on this?
Hey guys,
I’m a marketing student with skills in content creation, design, branding, and brand identity.
I tried freelancing through online freelance marketplaces, but it’s really hard to get projects as a beginner.
I don’t have a strong network, so I wanted to ask how people in Sri Lanka find freelance clients and present themselves.
Any advice would really help because I’m at a stage where I really need to earn money.
Thank you 🙏
Planning to buy 2–3 old classic Japanese bikes (CG125 type bikes) for a project.
I’ve never bought a used bike or vehicle before, so what should I know about the legal/document side? What documents should I check, how does ownership transfer work, and what questions should I ask the seller before buying?
Would appreciate any advice.
I’m trying to figure out fair pay for a marketing intern who already has solid skills (content creation, social media, basic strategy, etc.).
If someone at intern level can actually deliver real results, how much should they reasonably ask for? monthly.
Would love to hear what people are paying or charging right now. Thanks!
