When you google or hear a boiler plate answer of what conventional conservative idealogie is, you often see commonly understood things such as support for law and order, lower fiscal spending and a "smaller" government.
But another point is that Conservatives support/promote "traditions". I initially thought in contexts like in the UK, this meant traditional insututions such as support for the Royal Family like the Tories do.
However looking into it I see alot of countries that are indeed republics like of course the USA, the Republican party also supports "traditions". Its such common parlance, but I dont even really know what that truly means.
Does it mean more so holidays and other traditional cultural customs? Like in an American context celebrating/promoting the 4th of July? Same with other cultural customs unique state by state?
I feel like people on the left support that aswell.
Or am I just oblivious to what it really means?
Hey Comrades,
In the wake of the shitty animal farm movie that bombed and wanting to watch more media with my Girlfriend that makes her more radical (dont worry ive shown her alot of good documentary already).
Can anyone recommend me narrative films about Communist history/revolution/states/people thst actually are accurate and paint a good look and isnt just propaganda slop.
The only one I can think of off the top of my head is the Motorcycle Diaries.
