Poshmark reversed my earnings weeks after the order was completed — has this happened to anyone else?

I’m a Canadian seller and I’m honestly shocked by how Poshmark is handling this.
I sold a dress for $65 and shipped it using Poshmark’s Purolator label. On June 5, the package was marked delivered. Poshmark then emailed me saying the order had been delivered and accepted, and my $52 earnings were released on June 8.
Almost three weeks later, Poshmark suddenly cancelled the completed order as “unclaimed/returned to sender” and deducted the $52 from my balance.
The problem is that the dress has NOT been returned to me. Purolator tracking still shows it sitting at a Calgary sorting facility. So right now the buyer presumably has her refund, Poshmark has taken back my earnings, and I have neither the dress nor the money.
I contacted support asking why earnings from a completed order were reversed. They completely ignored that question, told me to relist the dress that I don’t even have, and gave me a $5 Posh credit “as a gesture.”
Has anyone else had Poshmark claw back earnings weeks after an order was completed? Shouldn’t they at least wait until the item is physically returned to the seller? What happens if Purolator never returns it?
This seriously makes me question how protected sellers actually are.

Has anyone actually had success with Poshmark Promoted Closet?

Has anyone here actually had real success with Promoted Closet?

I’m debating whether it’s worth running or if it just burns money. I’m curious to hear actual seller experiences — not just “more clicks,” but did it actually lead to more sales/profit?

Need honest opinions from experienced Poshmark sellers because I’m spiraling a bit 😭

I sold a BNWT Authentic Designer robe on Poshmark Canada for full price. Buyer sent no offers, no messages, no questions — just outright purchased it.
A few things are making me nervous:
Buyer account has very little activity
Username is kind of random
Shipping label shows the buyer’s first name twice instead of a full name
Item is NOT being routed through Posh Authenticate for some reason
Address is just a regular townhouse/suburban residential address
On the other hand:
Account is not brand new (created Nov 2025)
Poshmark generated a legit label instantly
No off-platform communication
No weird requests or payment issues
I have original proof of purchase
Tags are attached and item is authentic
I know luxury sales always carry some risk, but does this actually sound suspicious to experienced sellers or am I just having high-ticket-item anxiety?
Would you ship if you documented everything thoroughly (photos/video/packing/etc.)?
