PSA to all those worried about bears

Bears aren’t real have you ever even seen one?

/s

In all seriousness just use bear canisters/boxes when camping and don’t give any bear a reason to be threatened by you.

You don’t need and should not carry a weapon or bear spray with you in Tahoe, if you’re that afraid of bears then just don’t bother coming

WYR spend an entire winter living in a tent in Yakutsk Russia or an entire summer living in a tent in Ahvaz Iran?

For reference the December to March temperatures in Yakutsk range from as warm as -11 C (11 F) to as cold as -42 C (-43 F) and June to September temperatures in Ahvaz range from as cold as 25 C (77 F) to 50 C (122 F)

You are given everything you need and want, with the exception of any sort of electricity in your tent. You can spend as much time or as little time in the tent as you choose, but you must sleep there.
