Rust, covers, water and time. Saved?

My father's blackstone has been covered in NE ohio since he got sick about 6 years ago. He has a Blackstone grill maybe 48 inches with a grill side and a griddle side. A weber gas grill that I might be able to save. And a smoker that I can't tell the model of yet.
I'm aware that the Weber and the smoker are dirty from at least six years ago.

But the Blackstone seems affected but not damaged after all this time.
The griddle that drops in is orange and even had a bit of colorful grease slick on the water that had pooled. Beneath, the burners looked new as I drew the water off the griddle. I don't know much about Blackstone grills, but the part of me that knows cast iron cookware thinks it can be saved. The question is always effort vs. cost.
Old grit from the same 16th birthday party is caked to the grates on the left side but it seems that the burners are still freshish and shockingly clean.
What do I need to do to get this grill going?

Dang my father's favorite grill.

7 years ago, my dad got sick. He pretended all was good. He read Eckhart Tolle and lived day to day.
He turned his back yard into a sanctuary, orioles, bluejays. His time was spent ignoring how weak he was, how hard he worked to manage just taking a shower.

His weber grill, the smoker, and the 52 (?) inch blackstone grill were his and his alone. The canopies ripped in the winter wind here in Ohio on the lakeshore, the floating deck behind his new big deck from inch to inch of the back of the old lakeshore cottage turned home.
My stepmom took care of things outside while he brought her so many random things, a lighthouse, a piggie, a tattered flag.
I want to minimize... eliminate the dozens and dozens of lights, trinkets, and feeders. The coolers out there are full of green water. the weber grill seems salvageable despite the ragged and torn cover.

but the blackstone...

The griddle side is full of orange water, the rust seeming deep. Amazingly, this single one cover survived five years of brutal lake shore winters. CAn this be saved? What do I do?
