Just heard Hozier on my yoga app 🧘‍♀️

Anyone else had this experience on Down Dog? At first I was like “Ooh, I know that voice…” I really didn’t expect to hear him as the backing track to my morning vinyasa practice so it was a nice surprise… Although the song was Cherry Wine, which was a little disconcerting!!

I just saw it before it left IMAX…

It was flipping awesome. Sound was incredible. Human Nature gave me actual chills. Bad concert was soooo fun, closest I’ll ever get to a real MJ concert. And you see so many more details on repeat watching - they really packed a lot in to that film. So glad I caught it in IMAX just in time! Feeling the love right now ✨

I was pretty critical of the movie first time round, I felt it was a little shallow and way too fast-paced. But it really is soooooo much better on second watch! I think I had fewer expectations, I was more prepared for the pacing, and just really enjoyed the ride. I also noticed loads more little details.

I also had a much better overall experience, I originally saw it in a big auditorium but there were only about 6 people in there, this time it was a tiny screen with about 80 seats but the place was packed and the atmosphere was so fun! No one was really dressed up (except me in my thriller tshirt, haha), but there were hee-hees from the audience at the start (also from the guys who sold me my ticket lol), people were laughing, crying, I even heard one guy go “Holy shit!” when >!Joe appeared out of nowhere next to the fridge.!< Plus it was just so cool to enjoy it with and chat to other Michael fans. It was exactly what I was hoping for and I’m so glad I went back. If you’re wondering whether to go twice, do it! It’s definitely worth more than one trip.
