Why will my phone refuse to charge?

I own a Samsung galaxy (A14 I believe)(Edit: It's an A15 5G) and every time it dies, it WILL not charge no matter what I do. I have resorted to slapping it against a solid object like my hand or a bedframe to get it to accept charge. It sounds comical but it's the only way it will charge. It makes me so mad to the point to where I just toss it across a room. I fear I won't have a phone if this keeps happening.

I'll put it on a charger via a Samsung branded charging block, and it will actively die while on charge. I even put it on power-saving mode and even then, it still dies. I try to use a high-power charging cable to charge it, since it's faster and actually charges my phone (When it accepts charge). It's one of those chromebook chargers with the really long cord and big brick of a power supply. It charges my phone good, but if my phone doesn't accept charge, it won't do anything at all.

I'm absolutely livid that I cannot let it die no matter what. Does anyone else have a problem even remotely similar? I'm going to get a new phone unless I can get it to start working normally. There are dents on the back of the phone from where I had to slap it against something hard to get it to accept power. It's bad. I don't want to do that, but it is LITERALLY the only way, that I've found out, that works.

If anyone has any tips, suggestions, or fixes, PLEASE reply. Thank you.
