DAE need their life together before intimacy

hello DAE community,

to introduce myself, i’m 24 and currently in community college, still living at home, and i’m working toward the kind of stability i want for myself. i want to get my bachelor’s, be financially comfortable, and eventually be fully independent with my own place. i know everyone’s timeline is different, but i still have a hard time feeling accomplished enough at this point.

i do have a sex drive and obviously want intimacy, and i’d be open to a relationship. i know i’m attractive and have no problem finding someone who would be interested in me, and i’m not unhappy with my appearance. it’s more that i cringe at the thought of going on a date and having to explain where i’m at right now. i feel like i need to reach certain milestones before i can feel confident enough to put myself out there. at the same time, i’m proud of myself for actively working toward those things. i’ve been back in school, i have a job i really like, and i’m in therapy trying to work through this mindset. i know i’m moving in the right direction, but i still feel embarrassed that i’m not further along.

i know this isn’t a healthy way of thinking, and i’m sure it’ll take time to unlearn, but i’m wondering if anyone else has felt/feel the same way.

Help finding a Mexico jersey for the World Cup

I know it’s a long shot, but I figured I’d at least try. Does anyone know where I can find the famous green Mexico soccer jersey anywhere in DFW? Everywhere I’ve checked has been sold out, and I’m trying to get one before Sunday’s game.
:( I should’ve bought one weeks ago

UPDATE: The Adidas store at the Grand Prairie Outlets has a ton of Mexico jerseys and restocks them multiple times a day. I’m not sure how long they’ll stay in stock before selling out, but I was able to snag one in my size.

Hello CM community!

I’m a college student currently stuck between choosing Construction Management or Civil Engineering and could use advice.

For context, My grandfather owns a sheet metal / HVAC business and does very well, and that’s honestly the kind of path I see for myself long-term. I’m interested in eventually working in construction (possibly HVAC) and owning or running a company.

Construction Management seems more directly relevant, but Civil Engineering seems like a stronger, more flexible degree. My concern is that Civil won’t really teach me the business/management side.

I’d really appreciate any advice.
