EFSF combined fleet (battle of Loum)VS Gamilas Pluto garrison.

The EFSF combined fleet has materialized on within Pluto gravity well through unknown mean and are only a few hours from Pluto, the Gamilas garrison must quickly muster a defense of the planet.

EFSF combined fleet

60 Magellan-class battleships,

180 Salamis-class cruisers, 88 Lepanto-class missile frigates

20 Columbus-class carrier

40 landing craft

Gamilas Pluto garrison

1 Gaiderol-class Astro Battleship

7 Destria-class Astro Heavy Cruisers

22 Kelkapia-class High Speed Astro Cruiser

92 Kripitera-class Astro Destroyers

1 Reflective Satellite Cannon

12 DDG-110 Astro Fighter Zedora II

Objective

EFSF fleet primary objective is the capture of the Pluto base using ground forces, this requires at least 60% of the landing craft to survive and make landfall but if the transport ships are destroyed or insufficient number of ground force has landed the EFSF fleet will move in an try to destroy the base thru mass nuclear bombardment in the general area of the base. Retreat is not an option for them, this is a one way trip.

The Pluto garrison objective is to eliminate EFSF force and defend the base at all cost.

Can number and suicidal bravery overcome superior technology?

Unit concept: Mage commando

A mage is essentially a tank in a human shape package that can fly with the right equipment but imagine if they're used differently. Instead of a human size attack helicopter fighting on the front line against other mages, a mage can be very lethal in covert warfare and with the right training and equipment a single mage can turn the tide of war.

There's no reliable way to differentiate between a normal human and a mage (that I know of) unless the mage uses their magic, so with that reasoning a mage with commando and espionage training has the potential to turn a tide of war. A normal mage is already a menace on the battlefield, they have a magical shield that can reliably withstand a significant amount of conventional gunfire and they can enhance their equipment with magic that allows them to achieve spectacular results like cutting an aircraft wing off with a knife.

A mage commando with proper training and equipment can turn a key military facility to ruin and do what would've been deem impossible, any facility that's not being actively guarded by a mage squadron will essentially be a free real estate. After a few raids and missions the enemy would start to station mages at their key facility which means those mages aren't at the frontline fighting but unless the defending mages are veterans then they're just going to be a big obstacle to navigate around.

Imagine average Sniper Elite mission but the protagonist has magic.

Fleet Battle: Okita fleet(Battle of Pluto) VS Tianem fleet (Gundam Origin battle of Loum)

Okita Fleet from the Battle of Pluto:

1 Kongo class battleship

9 Murasame Murasame class cruiser

12 Isokaze class assault destroyer

Tianem fleet from the battle of Loum

15 Magellan-class battleships

45 Salamis-class cruisers

22 Lepanto-class missile frigates

Various landing craft and support vessels

Objective:

Tianem's fleet goal is to escort an invasion force toward a faraway colony. Okita Fleet's goal is to intercept the Tianem fleet in deep space before they reach the colony, the destruction of the landing force is the highest priority. Both sides have no reinforcement but resupply are allowed for both fleet.

Okita Fleet has a technological and speed advantage while the Tianem fleet has numerical advantages but are tied down by slow transport ships.

Who will win?

Dezariam is a paper tiger.

Dezariam has a lot of glaring weaknesses that can be easily exploited, despite all of its technological achievement manages to build a space navy that's very terrible compared to the comparatively primitive civilization like Earth and Gamilas.

  1. Their ship design doesn't make sense.

Dezariam's primary combat vessel, the Hyades Class Escort Ship, is the prime example. It is an escort ship that does not have any point defense weapon, its main gun is dual purpose but it has a very low rate of fire and slow turret traverse makes it a terrible AA gun. The lack of point defense weapon on its main front line warship would force the dezariam fleet to rely heavily on its fighter for point defense and air superiority, the caterpillar fighter is a pretty good fighter that is able to match Earth latest fighter in a dogfight but the problem is how Dezariam can deployed these fighters. As far as we know there are only two ways Dezariam can deploy aircraft into battle, either from their battleship like the Pleiades Class or through their mobile space fortress like Gorba. The Pleiades are pretty common but still not common enough while fortresses like Gorba are rare and only places at key positions, so in any battle outside those key positions Dezariam can only rely on the Pleiades to provide air defense which is not great at all.

The lack of AA and point defense capabilities make Dezariam fleet very vulnerable to missiles and air attack while simultaneously limiting tactical options as Dezariam can't separate their ships into independent units as effectively as other navy due to tactical inflexibility and to maintain effective air cover. Dezariam phase energy technologies application is very impressive, phase armor allowed their ship and fortress to shrug off even the strongest firepower while able to return fire with equal or even stronger destructive capabilities but relying on the fact that your ship can tank a damage consistently is not a good doctrine especially since most warships carry some sort of missiles base weapon. Dezariam's poor fleet composition makes them a poor match against their enemy like the Gamilas "I just teleport 50 bombers above your flagship", Bolar "Our missiles will blot out the sun" and Earth "500 wave motion gun and whatever Sanada cooked up in a lab this week".

  1. A technology with a lot of single points of failure.

I am willing to overlook the Digabelas and the whole Deep Subspace Power Grid, since the Phase energy is generated from Dezariam home world and send through a portal with all of their technology can receive power wirelessly but I can't overlook the fact that they don't think to pack a small Phase generator when they decide to set up on earth, now the entire Dezariam expedition force are on a timer because their entire energy reserve just got cut off, not to mention almost their entire energy reserve is also located in a star system where a good chunk of its population want them all gone and have the means to fight back. Dezariam fortresses are now the only thing that can supply their technology with energy, destroying even one would deal an immense blow to their energy reserve and when the energy were inevitably all drained their fancy fleet would just be space junk since none of their ships have an actual reactor.

The Dezariam love to puff up their chest and boast about how powerful they are but when you really look at the whole situation, you would have realized that Dezariam needed the whole song and dance with propaganda to convert the people of earth because they can't takeover through force of arms so they have to act like a bunch of snake.

Lamvea Heavy arms makes me questions Gamilas sanity.

I would like to ask whoever approved the conversions, why?

Gamilas built incredible battle carriers like Gelvades and its derivative but why in hell would they decide to overhaul an old decrepit aircraft carrier into a highspeed battle carrier.

Lamvea was pulled out of the mothball in 2199 to fight against the Yamato, the ship was heavily damaged and should be scrapped. I was surprised when it showed up in 2205 with two giant guns in front of it, it's the same gun as the Desura III main gun no less.

Is Gamilas really that short on battleships? Because there are a bunch of Gamilas ships that would be much more suited for the role, like Gelvades and Andromeda carrier type since those ships can battle and take return fire, something I doubt the Lamvea can.
