Avianca changed my flight and didn't notify me. Now they're changing my next one and not telling me what changed.

Hello.

I had a flight from Montreal to Chile through Bogotá on the 12th.

I booked it through Air Canada but operated through Avianca.

It was a fairly simple flight, leave Montreal 11pm, 2 and a half layover in Bogota and arrive in Chile at 2pm the next day.

I checked my flight on the 11th to confirm. But then on the morning of the 12th, I was going to check in online and see I now have a 12 and a half hour layover in Bogota and am instead arriving in Chile at 11pm the next day, turning what would have been a 15 hour trip into a 24 hr one.

So I call air Canada. They say Avianca changed the flight in May. I checked all my emails and I didn't see any notification. And since I had checked air Canada before, I assume it's Air Canada's fault for not updating their system.

Original flight was AV115, which apparently doesn't fly Mondays anymore so they put me on

Now I'm meant to fly back on the 6th of July.

I get an email on the 18th saying my next flight has changed.

"Hola, [u/unikatze]

Tu próximo vuelo, con código de reserva ******, tuvo un cambio por ajustes operacionales.

Equipo Avianca"

No mention of what has changed.

I check my reservation on air Canada, and it all looks the same as when I booked it.

I go to Avianca and enter my reservation number. Same one they've quoted in the email and it says they can't help online and I need to contact customer service.

I find two customer service numbers for Chile on their website. Both of which are not working.

Now I don't know if they've actually changed my flight and Air Canada didn't change it, or if they sent me an email notifying me of the flight change on the 12th a week late.

My current flights are AV98 and AV200

Has anyone experienced anything like this before or know of a way to get in touch with them?

Thank you.

Printable tai chi for seniors?

Hello hello.

My 82 year old father has been bombarded with these AI slop Tai Chi ads on YouTube and he's adamant on wanting it.

I instead found him some follow along videos instead, but for some reason he really wants a printable version.

Is there anything available of the sort?

He can do stand up stuff, but is also looking for "chair tai chi".

Thank you on advance.

My dad has a throwing disk from the 1936 Berlin Olympics (he says he could throw 28 meters. Dunno if that's good)

Does your Organization have a concussion protocol?

Good evening,

My organization is a non for profit. We're more of a hobbyist dojang, but occasionally travel so our students attend bigger tournaments. This usually means we travel as a group of students and coaches/chaperones.

Last week, we attended a tournament and we had a few injuries. One concussion and three leg injuries.

I was wondering what's everyone's protocols on concussions or any other injuries?

Do you have any steps in place for assessment of a student got hit in the head after a spare? Check in on them during the day or such?

Thanks in advance.

Need help making up a one step spar for Po Eun.

Hello

I'm testing for my second degree soon, and I need to come up with three 1 step sparring scenarios for all 3 patterns.

I've figured out most of them but I'm really struggling with a final one for Po Eun.

Mostly because a lot of the movements seem to be designed against multiple opponents or don't flow well between defending and countering.

I'm thinking attacker goes for a front snap kick and defender blocks with a low reverse knife hand block. But I can't figure out the counter.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Update: there were staves there. I used one of those with a U shaped block.

Got my 2nd degree :)
