I visited KL again after 8 years, and one thing I noticed is that I seem to be seeing fewer ethnic Malays in the areas I’ve been visiting (penang, cameron highlands, Kuala lumpur) not just in the malls and on the streets, but also among business owners

I feel like I’m seeing far more Chinese people than I remember from my last visit. Has something changed over the past eight years?

When I travel, I usually try to support local businesses, but its hard to do that here because everywhere I go is owned by the Chinese
