OK - how do you socially transition?!?

Recently posted about my wife and I having a partial break, and the hurt behind it. I appreciate all the kind remarks.

In a way, though, it's also been freeing. There was definitely more worry than I realized about me progressing with my transition leading to a split, but since it's kind of happening anyways, I'm feeling a bit more motivated to move forward.

TBH, work is still my biggest blocker, so I'm not sure it'll happen any time soon(though I do work remotely, so maybe I just spend more time off camera?)... but it's definitely got me thinking more about how this would all happen.

So here are my questions:

1)I've got 2 kids (7&8), and I do a lot(most) of drop-offs and pick ups. This is definitely a tricky bit for me, since I don't want to cause them to be bullied - for those of you with young kids, how did you manage this part?

2)How do I approach this with people who I see fairly frequently but I'm not super close with(neighbours/other parents at school, etc)... do I tell them first before I start doing anything, or just have it be a surprise?

3)Do I do it just all at once, or gradually add more feminine styling until one day I just say fuck it and throw on a dress?(probably next summer, since fall is approaching)

The answer to these questions is probably "do what feels right for you", but I guess I'm looking for experiences people have had along these lines.

For added context, I'm in a medium sized conservative leaning town(20K population) in Ontario... bunch of businesses on the main street have progress flag stickers, there is a progress flag cross-walk in town, we do a pride celebration, but the local facebook pages also *bitch* about all these things, there are houses that will put up signs for the far-right party during election season, and we elected a Conservative MP during the last general election.... so it's a mixed bag.

Neighbourhood kids also frequently play on our front lawn/back yard(got a playground and trampoline, nbd)... so that might become an issue if their parents are dicks.

Anyways, looking forward to hearing what you wonderful people have to say!

Thanks!

Seems like my marriage is (mostly) over.

We're coming up on our 10 year anniversary- I told my wife ~2.5 years ago that I was trans, and started HRT ~1.5 years ago.

There's been ups and downs with grief and what not, various periods of more or less physical intimacy, but the past month or two have been harder(well maybe the past 4 months, with a brief reprieve or two), and last night she told me she loves me, but she's not *in love* with me anymore.

She wants a platonic relationship, which we had talked about before, but it seems we had different understandings of what that entailed, for her it's just friends/coparents, for me there's still a deeper emotional, even intimate connection, just without the sexual aspect.

The thing is, I'm the sole breadwinner right now while she's working to get a business up and running, we've got two kids, and there's no way I could afford to support another home or apartment for myself... and I don't want our kids to have to move out of this house so we can get two smaller places(she doesn't either). So it seems we're going to continue sharing a bed, but not be what we were.

The thing is, when this all started, she seemed *more* attracted to me when I presented feminine... but once I started HRT, things really started going downhill in that department. I don't look feminine, I don't present feminine, I barely even have any breast development(but enough that I know my province won't fund a BA- separate vent). My interests/hobbies/personality haven't changed beyond me being more present and able to communicate effectively. Neither of us gets it, but we assume it's something to do with pheromones.

Whatever it is, I'm heart broken. I'm not even surprised, but part of me had hope that this could somehow turn around and work out, but now that hope is snuffed out.

Not really looking for anything other than to vent. Definitely not looking for anyone to villainize my wife for any of this, either.

Best workplaces for Transition-related insurance?

I know there was a spreadsheet floating around a while ago, but I don't think it's been updated.

Where do you all work and what kind of gender affirming care do they cover?

Adding CM impression tracker + IAS tracker to image creatives in DV360

How do I do it? Can we merge the trackers together into a single impression tracker, or does this need to be handled in CM360?
