Research organisations with good mentors.

Guys which research organisations provide dedicated mentors that actually help you publish and don’t just leave you in the middle?

Not a throwaway account. I just got to know reddit exists lol.

Hi everyone. I know y’all would probably be thinking that I am too young to be making this post and should be doing better things in life. And trust me, I really want to. I plan to study further, go abroad to specialise, earn loads and just travel and live my life to the fullest. But, I just got a bomb dropped on me a few days ago that my mom has been seriously looking for rishtas for me and plans to get me married in a span of few years. I tried to talk her out of it, but she straight up told me that I will have to say yes to whoever she chooses unless I have someone in mind.

Had I known she would be doing this, I would have tried to look for someone in my circle when I had the time and the energy for it lol. As a med student now, I am either rotting, reading or studying. Dating has always given me an ick and I thought I would do it when the right person comes around. Guess my mom won’t let me wait till then. As much as I respect and love my mom, I genuinely don’t believe she would choose someone I would be compatible with.

About me:

Age: 20
Education: Med student
Height:5’1
Religion: Sunni Islam
Ethnicity: Sindhi
Parents: Govt employees

I am an open-minded person who has been brought up in a very sheltered, privileged household. I can’t stand misogynistic, racist, homophobic and conservative people so please don’t come at me if i call you out lol.

I study, read, sleep and doom-scroll. That’s pretty much it lmao😭??

Also, I am a good listener, I understand other people’s feelings and opinions. I might sound extremely dry here, but people tell me I am not a buzzkill lol and actually a fun person to be around. I am not very social and have a few good friends. Looks wise I am probably a 7 or an 8??
I don’t like surface level connections and believe I should be best friends with my partner.
I would say that I am moderately religious. I pray a lot when exams come around tho. Otherwise, I get a bit lazy. I dress modestly and try my best to be closer to Allah.

I want to give this a try and see where it goes. If i end up connecting with someone with the same mental frequency and values as mine, we might end up taking it to the next level.

What I am looking for in a partner:
•Should be anywhere around 20-24(I believe connecting with someone closer in age would be more ideal).
•Should be hardworking and ambitious.
•Has strong values and is an open-minded accepting person.
•Doesn’t hinder my education and specialisation plans.
•Plans to get married in the next 2-3 years.
•Honest, loyal, funny and respectful.
•Takes good care of health and hygiene.
•Belongs to Karachi or Sindh
