The story takes place in era where humanity has figured out space travel, colonizing various worlds that have their own rules/laws so some worlds are magic fantasy, others have knights and martial arts, and others are technology focused.
The MC parent were these proper agents for this company but they died, and then due to reasons they took the MC's inheritance, forcing him to go live and work on an asteroid, where he uncovers something.
