Need suggestions for government colleges through CUET

Hi everyone,

I recently appeared for CUET and I'm trying to shortlist colleges/universities for admission.

My biggest priority is government colleges that accept admissions through CUET. I'm not very interested in DU and Allahabad University, so I'm mainly looking for other good government universities.

I secured 425 marks in PCB+English as an OBC category candidate.

A few details:

• Female student from India
• Looking for undergraduate admission through CUET
• Open to universities in Northeast India, Lucknow, or other states as well, would really appreciate if it's safe for women.
• Prefer affordable government institutions
• Good academics and campus environment are more important than college "hype"
• Hostel availability is a plus

Could you suggest government colleges/universities that:

  1. Accept CUET scores
  2. Have decent placements or higher-study opportunities
  3. Are worth considering besides DU, BHU, and AU

I'm looking for the course in the following priority:
Bsc Biotech>Bsc microbiology>Bsc life science>Bsc Zoology.
I'm also open for Hons.

Thanks!

Hii, I'm an 19 year old NEET dropper. Typical, yes. I'm gonna give NEET 2026, but there is voice inside me saying that I don't feel like going in this field. Being a Doctor have always been on my list, I idolized it. But now when I'm seeing the reality of what you go through in the process of being a doctor, I feel like dropping it. There are several reasons for it. After taking a drop of an year from home, I realized the amount of stress, pressure and isolation is a big NO for me. Speaking of my parents, they are very considerate of me and my choices and will support me no matter what. They are not very educated so they aren't exposed to far away career options.

I'm really confused about what to chose. I want a career where I can balance my life and work. I desire freedom, I love travelling too. I did consider and looked up into few different fields such as Microbiology, Biotechnology, Physiotherapist, etc. And i was really leaned into Biotech but then saw comments and posts about how useless it is and it have no scope.
I want a career that pays me enough.

I have been good in academics, I chose PCB and secured 91% in it. I feel so lost, it's like I'm just not enough for anything. There are so many what ifs that are haunting me. and beside this issues I'm also not very rich so government colleges are my only options. The fear of making a bad career choice and losing my youth is slowly killing me.
PLEASE HELP ME THROUGH THIS CRISIS. PLEASE BE THE GUIDING ANGEL IN MY LIFE!
