Just curious if anyone here has applied for those new apartments by the Burbank mall? Seems they started taking leases a month or so ago since floors 1-3 are fully taken.

Any thoughts on it or anyone looking at it for potential living?

Just wondering how I’m doing? Should I open any other accounts or how should I investing my money more heavy?

Net worth : 134,000.00

HYSA : $10,000
HYSA #2 (for Roth IRA funding next year): $7,500
Roth IRA: $24,650
Taxable brokerage: $20,000 (barely funded it last month)
401(k) company : $16,900
Checking : $21,000
Cash : $34,000

Car is also paid off, hopefully it lasts a while, I know the brand I own can get expensive with maintenance.

First of all, I know I shouldn’t be having that much in my checking or even cash but I’m wanting to invest more so it’ll go into accounts eventually.

My work 401k is also stalled at that number until my new employer sets up the new retirement account and we can start matching, but I’ll most likely rollover my old 401(k) I listed above into the new one once it’s available.

Monthly expenses:

Car insurance $400
Gas $250-300 ( depends how much I’m driving )
Food/misc $ 100-200

Monthly income : $3900 after tax

Also, I currently took a break from college but I think I want to go back for something in business, for example finance or accounting but still deciding.
