That’s AI right?

Was looking at burger places in UberEats, this place on Western Ave looks like they use Ai images for their food, makes me wonder how bad it actually looks

How best to fix this.

I work at a thrift store, and rn we’re prepping all the Christmas stuff, this DRIVES ME NUTS with the villages when this happens, what’s the best way to get it out, or does it just live there now, Also the bulb is already shattered.

Cant remember the name of this Book I read in middle school

I can’t remember exactly what happened but there was this group of like three friends and they were all guys I think like 18-20 and they go to a city for the summer and stay in this apartment, and there’s another guy they’re who’s a big hairy guy who has a poncho ( and at one point brought a roach in to keep as a pet?). And they got into like some shenanigans, and got jobs at a bakery, one of them made up a desert that was just cake mix and like cream and almost got them all sued.
I remember it being a good book and I don’t know how old it is, I cant remember if they had cellphones or not in it so it may be a 90s or early 00’s book.
If it helps I read it for a book report in 2007

Edit: I remember another point being the owner of the shop would collect the hubcaps off of cars that would hit the pothole outside the shop or something.
I may not being remembering it exactly but I remember the hubcaps

Question for Fellow Transplants

I moved here about 8 years ago, what’s one thing about the area that shocked you?
For me it was Heat Lightning, I came from NJ and I had never seen that before I didn’t know it was a thing!!
(Picture for visibility)
This is not a post to bash transplants this is for us to share what different/better/cooler about here than where we grew up

It just tastes… burnt

I followed this honey syrup recipe from a vintage cookbook I have (I wrote it down first because it a big book I didn’t want to have to look for it again)
And at the end it just tastes, burnt. Like not good at all. I went back to the book to make sure I made I right and I did it’s just not good. I will try it again when I get more Honey. But damn that’s a bummer
Hopefully next time it’s better and this time was just bakers error.

I FOUND MY WHITE WHALE

I have been for YEARS looking for a record player, where the record player part still works, picked this up for $22 today and I’m finally playing my Late Dads records, currently crying sitting on the floor listing to Pink Floyd
