Extreme Heat Watch from Wednesday through Friday. This will most likely be upgraded to a warning. To the “it’s summer” crowd…yes, it gets hot in summer but this will be a dangerous situation with very high heat index’s, and a long duration event with little if no relief at night. Our power grid will be tested as well so make sure you charge devices and have a plan if that does occur. This area has not hit 100 degrees since the 1950’s. That record may fall this week especially Thursday. Please be safe and look out for fellow community members!
