Saturn 8th House Transit has cooked me hard

Hey All,

Leo Moon.

Saturn transited to my 8th house in March 2025.

Well up until August 2026 I didn't realize the astrological significations till I revisited astrology lately. Things have become more severe when my 12th house mercury AD started within Moon MD in March 2026.

Now let me tell you sequence of events-

  1. Had Brain MRI in October 2025 & the neurological symptoms lateron subsided.
  2. I had severe epsiodes of tonsillitis in February & May 2026. I left smoking & drinking consequently. I've been almost 4 months sober now.
  3. I'm gay & I was having relentless sex for past 2 years. Got diagnosed with HIV & Syphillis in mid-July. Doctors, tests, medicines, bills & everything managing single handedly has been very tough.
  4. Suddenly developed a breathlessness in end of August. Again doctors round HRCT, Echo & ECG tests. It has automatically improved but I'm still getting bouts of these.
  5. Now I'll be administering penicillin injections for syphillis. Just recovered from a seasonal flu epsiode.

So, every month there has been doctor visitations, tests & clinic visit. Also, a mysterious chronic back pain which is muscular in nature.

Now, I've changed completely as an individual. I've become more health conscious, started working out (though something keeps me away always) & stopped alcohol & smoking. No indulgence & sexual life is inactive too.

But I'm tired & exhausted of this transit. I see there is still more left as Saturn would be hitting the exact moon degree again. I try to embrace everything & learn but this phase has been too difficult for a 26 year old. More so- I'm gay, sole earning member of family & I've managed everything single handedly.

Also, sometimes I wonder how did I get through. What gave me strength.

How has your 8th house transit been? Any similar?

Aahat — Truly World Class!

Re-watched some of the episodes of Aahat, largely S1, and it's truly amazing!

The psychotic behaviour, psychological thriller storylines, theatre-like acting with the zoomed-out camera, and profound expressions are truly amazing.

No high-end technology or effects. It's solely the storyline and the actors, who have truly delivered. Very expressive and vivid performances.

My favourite — "The Gamble."

Put forth your favourite too! I'll watch it!

The best seance (spirit/ghost communicator) award goes to The Changeling (1980) lady seance!

I recently watched The Changeling (1980), and I know this is a very minute detail compared to the larger plot, but the seance scene in this movie is genuinely one of the best I've seen.

The woman conducting the seance has such a stolid, almost unnervingly composed face, and the way the writing handles the communication is fantastic. Her subtle voice, the constant questioning, and especially the repetition of the questions make the whole thing feel strangely authentic and unsettling.

It might seem trivial compared to everything else happening in the movie, but for some reason, that particular seance really caught my attention. There’s something about how understated it is that makes it work so well.

Curious if anyone else noticed this?

What story do you think her face is telling?

I came across this lady selling produce while trekking through the Sahyadri Mountains of India. The moment I saw her, something about her face stopped me. I sought her consent and took her picture.

She looked morose and somewhat dejected, yet I found her face perhaps the most beautiful I had ever seen. There was an extraordinary depth in her eyes. Her wrinkles seemed less like marks of age and more like traces left behind by a lifetime of joys, hardships, memories, losses and countless ordinary days that I could never know.

It reminded me of the way Marquez writes about Ursula in One Hundred Years of Solitude. Old age almost becomes a form of accumulated history, where a person's face seems to contain more time than we could possibly comprehend.

And perhaps that's what struck me most. I wasn't simply looking at an old face. I felt, for a moment, as though I were looking at a lifetime.

So, what do you think her face is telling?

Hey! Please help me with an effective gym routine!

Hey all,

M-26

I've just started going to the gym about a month ago, and I feel like my current routine lacks structure, particularly when it comes to targeting different muscle groups appropriately.

Rather, it's been quite haphazard, and AI suggestions literally vary with every prompt, so I'm not sure how effective or reliable they actually are!

I'd therefore really appreciate it if you could share the workout routine that has helped you build a muscular physique while reducing body fat.

Thanks in advance!
