Im looking for an Accountant from Sekatchewan, Canada

Im a guy from the Philippines and is trying to do crowdfunding (kickstarter) for a project that ive been working on for some time now. Problem is Kickstarter isnt available in my country.

My workaround is i am planning to setup a SOLE PROPRIETORHIP is Seskatchewan, and tag my fundraising under that business name and location. Ive read in the internet this province allows sole props to be fully foreign owned.

Now i just need to hear from an actual accountant if this plan is feasible, and help me register the business in the most seamless way possible.

Some of you probably know me from my posts about my comics the Heresy Series. I recently celebrated this small Kickstarter success from it and am hoping to keep going with it... However i just hit a little snag with my campaign. Which is why im putting it out there to seek help from the community whoever might be interested.

STRIPE ATLAS for creators outside KS countries— Good idea?

I learned that Stripe Atlas has been around for a while now, and on paper it sounds like a great solution to those who couldn't set up their own Kickstarter, or couldn't find a partner.

But I tried a to read some more and I can't find any recent unanimous feedback about its service/performance. Most that comes up are either from years ago, vague, and divisive.

So I'm raising the question again to those who have personally tried the service recently. What is your experience on Stripe Atlas (or any other similar/alternative service provider)?

I am using a friend's US bank account for my KS funds.

Im a comics creator from the Philippines, which sadly isnt yet a country affiliated with Kickstarter.

I tried to go around this by having a trusted friend's US bank details as a means to receive the pledges.

Our agreement is he'll transfer all the funds to my local bank account and charge off transfer fees and only a minor inconvenience fee for himself.

Other than this he doesnt have any creative or fulfillment role relative to the campaign. I've found a way to manage the whole campaign remotely from marketing, printing, shipping... all that.

Ive already had one successful campaign and is gearing up for my second. But ive suddenly been having doubts about the seamlessness of this arrangement.

My question is, you think my friend would eventually have tax problems with this setup? And if so, you know of any "proper" way to avoid/fix this? Is this something other people might have already done, or is this just us?

Hope you guys can throw in your two cents.

Testing if these Cover and Blurb works... Lmk your thoughts.

Almost done with the current (second) title in this series im building. This next one will be my third. I'd like to hear from people if this cover and blurb brings a certain impact if seen through a shelf/gallery.

A retired hitman, returns home one day to an eerie messsage written in screaming red ink. The word "Karma" can only be taken as a threat in the context of his past. More of these threats appear, as he runs around town learning what they mean to him as a person-- as a spiritual student.

All of this while the Dark monk watches him from the shadows. Waiting for his chance.
