I have been at my current job for 8 years and I love what I do and really enjoy my coworkers and clients. New management came in about two years ago and it's been really rough. For the last year, I tried so hard to stay under the radar and please my narc boss. In recent months, the abuse has ramped up. It's at the point where I know I can't continue to stay, it's effecting my health and my life too much. I am really heartbroken to have to leave though, because I really enjoy the work I do and I know the job market is rough right now. I've just finally realized there is absolutely no winning with this boss, no matter what I do. The whole situation is really devastating. I still don't understand what I did to become a target for such abuse.

Has anybody here ever attempted professional mediation with your narcissistic boss? Several of my colleagues have recommended I look into this option to fix the communication with my narcissist boss. I don't have hope that that would help. I would love to hear experiences from others who have tried this.

I've been dealing with a narcissistic boss for a long time. I was hopeful a few months ago because I heard she was moving, but the company has allowed her to stay on even though she's no longer living in the area. Things escalated once again today. I really reached a breaking point today. I've applied for mental health leave and I've notified my employer that I'll be using PTO until my leave gets approved. I don't have it in me to continue to show up to this job anymore.

One of the biggest difficulties with this has been feeling like I'm absolutely crazy. My narc boss and her flying monkeys gaslight and twist truths so much, it's genuinely made me start to question my own reality and memory.

I've been a right below knee amputee for six years. I currently have the Proteor Kinterra hydraulic ankle. I'm trialing the Blatchford Elan IC and it's the first time I've ever had the experience of using a microprocessor foot. I really like it so far after two days of use. I would really love to hear from other people who have the Elan IC and hear your experience using it long term.

Nmom texted me today to say since I'm always asking her what she wants for mother's day, she would like me to buy her a specific bracelet that costs $350. This is in addition to her husband texting me the other day with his "suggestions" for what me and my siblings should buy her for mother's day.

We have been low contact for years. I wasn't planning on getting her anything for mother's day. I haven't gotten her a mother's day or birthday gift in years. Picking out an expensive gift for a holiday and then telling me and my siblings that we need to buy it for her has always been her MO, even when we were kids.
