Is a Bachelor’s Degree Enough to Work in Germany as an Engineer?
Hey everyone!
I’m a second-year Telecommunications Engineering student, and my goal is to work in Germany after graduation.
I’m trying to figure out what I should focus on now to improve my chances of getting a job. I’m particularly interested in networking and telecommunications.
I’d love to hear from people who have been in a similar situation:
- Is a bachelor’s degree enough to find an engineering job in Germany, or is a master’s worth it?
- How important are German language skills? Is B2 enough, or should I aim for C1?
- What technical skills, projects, or work experience should I build during university?
- How difficult is it for graduates from outside the EU to get their first job in Germany?
I’d really appreciate your honest opinions and personal experiences. Thanks!
