I found the room where the bad decisions are stored.

Been working more on the aquatic facility area in Don’t Feed the Aisles.

The funny thing is, this all used to be inside an old store… so the question is: how does something like this end up hidden in a place where people used to buy groceries?

This section is supposed to make the player feel like the facility was studying way more than just dinosaurs walking around in cages. Some rooms are quiet, some are broken, and some make you wonder why anyone thought putting this behind glass was a good idea.

Still polishing the lighting and atmosphere, but I’m liking the “science museum after something went horribly wrong” vibe.

Also yes, I would not tap the glass.

Made the lighting better, now the dinosaurs can see me too

Been reworking the lighting in Don’t Feed the Aisles to make the atmosphere stronger while also making the game a little easier to read. I’m a lot happier with the direction now, but while testing and tweaking things, I decided to delay the demo a bit so I can polish it up more.

That said, if anyone still wants to check it out, I do have a unpolished version of the demo up on itch.io right now.

It’s still rough in places, but if you play it, I’d love feedback on:

  • lighting / visibility
  • atmosphere
  • general feel
  • anything that feels awkward or unfinished

Trying to make the final demo version as strong as possible.

I redid my PS1-style Dino Crisis-inspired trailer after getting feedback

I posted a little while ago about making a PS1-style trailer inspired by Dino Crisis without fully spoiling the dinosaurs.

After getting some feedback, I went back and redid the trailer to make the shots clearer, show more gameplay, and give the dinosaurs a little more presence without revealing everything.

Still trying to keep that old survival horror / mystery vibe, but I wanted it to feel more like an actual gameplay trailer this time.

Would love to know if this version works better. Does it feel more interesting now, or should I still show more?

I asked for fresh seafood, not Jurassic seafood.

Made the shark tank lighting more red because Mack Cuban wasn’t looking threatening enough.

Now he looks like he’s about to reject my business pitch and eat me.

I've spent more time making a Steam page than surviving dinosaurs.

I've been working on the Steam page over the past week, and it's finally getting close to being ready.

Along with it, I'm putting together a new trailer inspired by those old PS1-era survival horror games, so the page has something special to launch with.

I'm excited to finally let people wishlist the game. Thanks to everyone who's been following development so far!

When the shark tank is somehow the safest hallway.

Still working on the aquatic section. I like how weird this area feels. Somehow the shark tank might not even be the worst thing in the building.

Demo coming June 30th.

POV: You ignored the ‘Do Not Tap Glass’ sign.

Just working on one of the facility hallway sections. Still tweaking the lighting, VHS effect, and overall look, but I like the cold/empty feeling this area has.

Quick 2-minute gameplay clip from my PS1-style dinosaur horror game.

Everything is still very work in progress and not final ofc but I wanted to share a bit of the tunnel section and get some feedback.

Trying to make my PS1-style dinosaur horror game

I’m still tweaking the lighting, camera, and VHS filter, but I like how trapped this shot feels.

Does this visual style work for a gameplay screenshot, or should I brighten it up a little so players can read the scene better?
