Posted here earlier asking for suggestions on bedding. The bedding I decided on is mauve-blush pink which will take some time to arrive, and our guests are arriving today. So we used the bedspread we already have, which I know is underwhelming and also got a beige quilt from home goods. It’s very soft and light, which is good coz my family members are warm sleepers and don’t want a thick blanket. This will have to do for until the new bedding arrives. I promised an update, so here you go. I still need to paint baseboards and add curtains, but that’s for another day. I’m happy with the progress!

Excuse the messy room. Just got done painting and wallpapering. This was a bold choice, one that I only felt comfortable making in a guest bedroom. But I’m actually really liking it. Yet to do the baseboards, but don’t have the time or energy for it right now as I have guests coming home soon. I’m usually a white wall kinda gal, so this was a big leap and I was really sweating when I was working on it. Sometimes you gotta trust the process. I’m trying to decide what colour bedding I should go with for this room. There will also be a dark green bench at the foot end of the bed. I feel like going with green for the bedding as well, maybe a bit much. I also feel like it maybe a better idea to keep the bedding plane and simple, instead of introducing another print. What would you do? Open to any suggestions. Will share a better picture later once I clear things up and set the room up.

We just had a sunroom addition done, and decided to do faux stone siding instead of the regular siding we have over the rest of the house (it’s going to be painted light green and will match this new siding better). This was done two days ago and the corners look like this and I hate it. Looks so cheap and poorly done. On looking at pics of this siding online, the corners didn’t look so fake. Besides the bad corners I actually like how it looks. I’m going to talk to my contractor tomorrow, but wanted some input from folks here who may have used this product on their exterior. I paid extra for this siding and was told that it’s a more convenient and low maintenance alternative to real stone exterior and am so unhappy to see this. Please help!

Got this from Mr Maple and it got delivered on 4/18. I got three and the other two are doing great. I haven’t put them out because I live in zone 5b and we do get intermittent frosts and since this is coming from down south and is fully leafed out, I figured it wouldn’t handle frosts well. Could anyone tell me why it’s wilting?
