Throwaway account because my roommate knows my own.

I’m a foreigner in this country, and so are my roommates (we’re all from different nationalities).

One of them has a friend who regularly visits and I absolutely hate. She tries to scam every chance that she gets such as: not paying for the public transport, stealing from the stores (nothing so big, but at normal she’s very good in taking small items in her purse and just pay for others). In the beginning when she openly told me about this I thought “she’ll get punished in this country for sure” and it frustrates me that it’s been MONTHS (we moved here in September) and she still manages to do this easily!

I am honestly against this because it’s always that have not been raised like that and I hate that people like that are the reason why Danish hate on immigrants and the system doesn’t work (specially with not paying the fare of the public transport).

I have been told that without any proof it would be very difficult to report to the authorities, I don’t know specifically what or when she steals, since I’m always avoiding them. So as long as for public transport I can always pray for her to be fined again (yes she has been fined before lol).

The last store that I knew she allegedly took things from from was a big Føtex (or normal) in Copenhague (according to my roomie, no more than 400 dkk which was like lotion stuff). I don’t know if I go to the shop they would take me seriously until they find her themselves in the act? Can I ask for them to check the cameras and report even if she’s not a resident for this country or even tho I don’t have strong evidence against her to shown? My friends told me that it’s hard since she only does it in big stores, always changing locations and when the tourists are on season. I also never know when she’s around since I’m working and they’re out almost every day all day.

I’m afraid things can turn to me if I make an accusation and she’s prepared to save her ass somehow and therefore looks like im the one lying.
Should I just wait until she’s dumb enough to repeat stores and get caught?

Years ago (probably 20) my daughter read for her Spanish class a kind of book that multiple short horror stories. The cover was a guy eating cereal and some kids on the plate? Something like that.

I’ve chat GpT’d without any luck. I don’t know where else to look. I can’t even find my daughter’s program from her school to look for it.

Hi Allie. I need book recommendations as the title said. My in law is feeling “a bit lost” on life and she needs “to feel motivated again”.

She read midnight library and she loved it. I could see a little spark in her eyes.
After that I haven’t seen her found anything like it.

She read a little life recently (VERY bad timing) so her heart is shattered and I need to lift up her mood after that.

She’s single, no kids, and works in healthcare. I’m 55 so I can’t fully connect & I think my recommendations are out dated
