Advice for bad call options?

Made a massive mistake buying IREN calls before earnings and on top of a bear market momentum. I yolo my last paycheck into buying 5 call contracts worth 800 dollars and I am already emotional and doubting this… down almost 200 dollars and the time is ticking away. Also realized this is a bad time gambling after I quit my job, been unemployed for two months and the market is fisting me on my calls. What do I do now? I am so lost.

US Accounting Grad marrying a Pole later this year. Getting auto-rejected from corporate jobs. Help!

Hey everyone,

I’m a US citizen, 25M, who just arrived in Poland on a tourist visa. I’m marrying my Polish fiancée this August, and right after the wedding, I’ll be applying for my temporary residence card (Karta Pobytu). Right now, I really want to have a job but I'm getting hit with non-stop auto-rejections.

I'm finishing up an Advanced Accounting degree online - a NY college and have been applying to entry-level corporate accounting, business admin, and Shared Service Center (SSC) roles in Kraków and Warsaw.

My background is a US Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, a US GAAP tax internship, and a few years of hospitality management experience (I do not have much corporate experience). I am a native English speaker with beginner/really terrible Polish. I do not have a work visa but do the corporate hubs in Poland expect a photo on the CV, or should I stick to standard US format?

I am having problems finding work and is there anything I can do that will likely have the corporations to grant me a working visa while I get my residence card after I get married? I mostly applied through LinkedIn.

6KG Watermelon in Poland Cost Me $20

I traveled to Poland and brought a watermelon, cause I was craving for it. I thought the Farmers Market in Krakow has cheaper watermelon during the summer season but apparently it cost me 20 bucks, USD. In America, during a season like this, it would’ve got me 3 watermelon with the same or larger watermelon of the same amount of money.

Later that day, I cut open the watermelon and the fruit has turned rubbery, indication that the watermelon was no longer fresh.

Went to the local supermarket, Lidl, and saw the same watermelon and cost 7 PLN per kg. Lesson learned.

Advice Please... Queens College Student and I need ACCT 367

I only have one class which is ACCT 367 left to graduate and I realized that both the summer term and the fall term are full. I wind up having to waitlist on the 10th position in the fall term 2026, while the summer term is completely unavailable. I am only looking for an online version for this class and it is so frustrating because this class always gets completely filled. Both Advanced Accounting and Business Accounting concentrations have to take this class and only like 2 or 3 professors are available in the fall semester, while 1 professor is available for the summer semester. I feared that I might NOT be able to get into the fall semester's class and might have to enroll again in spring of 2027 in order to complete this class and fill the requirement for the degree.

I tried the e-Permit and there are two classes that popped out, but I cannot apply to them somehow. Is there an alternative to this class in order to get my degree as soon as possible? Perhaps should I change college or to another school?

Vanessa's Dumplings House Employment Wage Scam

Just wanted to throw it out there for anyone whose seeking employment in NYC and wants to look into "Barista or Cashier" position to avoid this Vanessa's Dumplings House employment since I first handedly experienced wage theft by the Owners - Neil and Vanessa (the asian woman that created the place). I worked there for almost two years back in 2020-2022 and I was working the whole day - overtime for 5 days. I come in Monday to Friday (to their new store uptown Manhattan which they just opened back then), 11AM to 11PM, working as a cashier (18M) and when I get my paycheck (they pay in every two weeks), it only shows 68 hours (with 30 minute break accounted) which I remember correctly. For tips, you split it at the end of the day with both FOH and BOH.

Being young and stupid, I was overwhelmed by the amount of hours and did not know about the NYC spread of hours and other employment laws. I was clearly being taken advantage of and I simply gave in my two weeks and find another job. The job wasn't even paying me enough to afford my own rent and my own food, and to this day I still remember overhearing a conversation with Vanessa where she says "Why should I pay the kitchen people overtime?" while the two owners get paid thousands of dollars a week. Sadly, I missed out on the lawsuit window, the class action which was filed a while back by the kitchen staffs.

To the employees in Vanessa's Dumplings and the Chinese kitchen staffs that hardly speak any English, check your paycheck and your hours cause often times these owners like to steal your wages and make your life miserable.

Japanese-Styled Tattoo Artists in Krakow

Can anyone list me some great tattoo artists in Krakow who have a specialty of coverups and the use of black and white? Not a fan of colored tattoos.

Thank you!
