Shoutout to the old customers
Really fucking cool to call me a “thickheaded person who’s going no where”. What happened is basically a customer wanted me to scan clearance items, which are tagged, and i said “oh the ink is faded, i can read that for you”. old man got irritated and was like “there’s no fucking reason not to scan it”. don’t you love the elderly? god bless i hope no one visits his ass in the retirement home what a DELIGHT. uni student by the way. just using this job to scrape by.
Edit: shoutout to the customer who said he was being rude and unnecessary. i fw you
Edit 2: for context, as copypasted from my own comments since i forgot that’s extremely important here
It was a tagged clearance item and I was in the middle of fulfilling a fabric order (where i was cutting the fabric and then got called to the floor and had to leave my scanner behind for the other person, it was a BIG order that needed two people (adding onto the comment)) so I was in a rush and tried to help to the best of my capacity. Not gonna argue but if you’re gonna read a post where an employee is verbally abused and then go “you should have just scanned” then idk what to tell you. What I’m saying is that I didn’t have a way to scan it basically and the customer, I think, knew that lol.
I might be misunderstanding
If my statement balance reads something like
- Balance on last statement: 139.00 on x Date
And then remaining balance is 0, do I still have to pay 139? I’ve tried calling customer service and they were literally no help on answering this, I don’t want to be late paying a card
Greetings?
Hey so I don’t know how to ask this but: is it a new thing that cashiers have to also stand by the door and greet customers now when no one is in line? My manager for the past few days has been having me do this, but I don’t see him having other cashiers doing it. I’ve worked for Michaels for about 2 years and haven’t had to do that.
