New BSH member in the family!

Please welcome Lova(4months BSH)!

Brought him home from the breeder last week, wife and I are in love with him! What a huge floof!

Currently in the introduction period to our resident cats 4 yr old boy and girl. Pinto(boy) seems to be tolerating of him and only hisses when Lova dash at him, on the other hand, Soju(girl) hisses at the first sight of the newcomer

Please wish me lots of luck and smooth introduction!

Context

All day Tstat is set to 75F, night time sleeping temp is 68F.

Noticed consistent humidity rise during night time sleeping temp.

Day

Time: 6am - 10pm

Temp: 75F

Humidity: 55%

Night

Time: 10pm - 6am

Temp: 68F

Humidity: 60%

When ac turns on to hit 68F I can see the hygrometer on my night stand starts to climb from 55% to 60%, and the history data of the hygrometer shows constant 60% RH through the night.

To my understanding, humidity should drop as the ac runs for longer period of time.

I’m no HVAC expert, can some one help me diagnose?

I’d like to keep it consistently 55 RH or under.

Thank you for reading.
