9 days post-op

I know nobody asked, but figured I'd share an update on my recent surgery anyway. 😀 I'm 9 days post-op, I have an AMS 700 LGX 18cm with a 2.5cm RTE. First bite was a bit rough as I had some severe abdominal pain, but after that all is going as expected.

First few days I had to use tramadol but stopped that on day three and only using Tylenol and occasional Advil for pain control. Just yesterday my scrotum actually began to look normal again although much larger than it used to be - you know, down from the size of a small watermelon to the size of a large orange. At this point the only pain are occasional shooting pains in the shaft and I have a hard time walking to the bottom of the scrotum feels like it's burning, so I spend probably too much time in my recliner or bed. But it is getting better

Saw the doctor on Wednesday and he said everything looks great. I should come back in 2 weeks and we'll start making sure all the parts are in the right place.

Thanks again to all the members here who help me feel a whole lot better before I did this

Anyone else get severe abdominal pain the day of surgery?

Had my surgery yesterday and it seems to have gone well. Some minor discomfort on my penis and scrotum. But the weird thing was I had terrible gas pains in my abdomen. I know they don't inject air for the surgery, like they did for my hernia and prostate removal so it was not something I expected. It was bad enough that they had to give me a shot of morphine so I could go to sleep.

Anyone else have this experience?

Otherwise went great about to take my first post surgery shower.

Joining the Brotherhood today

I'm sitting in the hospital waiting room waiting to check in for my admission ticket to the brotherhood. I'm much calmer than I would have been thanks to the people on this group. Still quite nervous, but better than I would have been. Thanks all and when do I get the special hat?

Update: thanks everyone for the positive thoughts. One day post-op and doing well. Had a weird situation last night, had horrible gas pains, like the ones I had after my prostate removal and hernia surgery. This is weird because they don't pump air into you for this surgery. It was so bad they gave me morphine so I could sleep. It got better overnight and today just mild discomfort.

Gigastorm print

Hi all

Just got our gigastorm and setting it up. One of the things I want to print is a giant gummy bear (we are in the candy business). I set it up as big as I can on the slicer with default settings and it came out with 40000g of filament and 16 days of printing. I know I need to change the infill % and type and was looking for suggestions. This is purely a decorative piece so I know I can go lower, but how low.

Thanks

Wellington Florida Dr.

Hi. I'm having my surgery shortly with Dr. Edward Becker Wellington, Florida. I was curious if anyone else has had the surgery with him? How your results went. He has done thousands of these so I'm confident, just wanted to know if anyone else is going through it with him

Thanks
