Black stuff on water fountain filter right after cleaning.

I just deep cleaned my petlibro fountain the day before yesterday and changed the filters. I went to change the water today and the white filter has black stuff on it. I have never seen this before and I have had this fountain for over a year. It’s the first filter from a new box. What is it?? Mold? Why would mold grow so fast when it hasn’t before? I am attaching pictures of the filter.

Why is it so hard to cut things off?

My (30F) ex boyfriend (30M) broke up 6 months ago after an insanely toxic and tumultuous 3 year relationship. He cheated on me, lied to me constantly, gaslit the shit out of me, etc. and I always took him back after. Finally he broke up with ME and I was devastated. We lived together and even had cats together, I moved out in March and kept the cats.

However, we never cut contact. We still talk every single day and see each other at least once a week. We don’t have sex very often but we do occasionally. I have been trying to convince myself that being “friends” works for me but it’s still driving me insane. He’s still lying to me constantly and disrespecting me even though we aren’t even together and are free to do whatever we want.

I am literally in a prison of my own making. I know he’s not going to change, he doesn’t respect me at all, he just wants me around because I’m familiar and comforting. He’s also become an alcoholic in the past year or so (addiction runs in his family) and I’ve been the only one supporting him through that.

When we first broke up I felt like he was all I had, but the past few months I’ve developed a friend group and hobbies and I’m actually feeling pretty good about my life.

I know I need to be done. I feel done. I truly don’t even know what I’m holding onto anymore. Why is it so hard to let go?

I was so nervous but I did it! AT/AT/T

I started studying in January and took it pretty slow. I did AR’s 35 unit course and used Study Hall Plus, and also watched AR’s mindset video and some of the ultra hard questions video.

My exam was definitely challenging but I felt like study hall was pretty close to it. I had a decent amount of select multiples and a handful of calculations, no graphs. I also had 1 or 2 drag and drops. I took it in person which I’m glad I did. I took both breaks and finished about 40 mins early. I’m not one to check my answers so no flagging, just submitted.

So glad I don’t have to worry about this anymore!
