I was trying to watch a show on my roku and for some reason it just muted and is playing in the fast forward (2X) speed. I've tried unmuting, turning it off, unplugging it and I checked for a system update and nothing is fixing it. Has anyone else had an issue like this before?

I'm currently doing the Here, There, and Everywhere quest and I've been mining in the mines for the past 3 hours. I have 2 level 5 mining companions along with hanging out with a friend who's at level mining 9 now and I haven't gotten a single shiny sapphire. I also have the yellow bar on my energy over halfway full. Am I doing something wrong? Is this some bug? If so, how can I fix this?
