tips got studying/note taking without ai?

hello! I (18F) am attending uni in literally 2 days. I’m really nervous about taking notes during lectures because throughout high school I used to be really good with notes but I know college is different and mire fast paced. Does anyone have some good FREE apps or softwares for windows that would make note taking easier? It’s really important to me that there’s no ai features because I dont like ai with a burning passion. I would also love some suggestions on anything that might record lectures or do voice to text stuff. I have an arm disability that makes it difficult for me to write for too long so this would be super helpful. Thank you so much in advance!

Can TOS symptoms spread to other parts of the body???

hello all! i have been diagnosed with tos for a good while now and i have surgery scheduled for early august. unfortunately, ive had some weird symptoms in my leg (right leg, same side as my tos) lately that have been really similar to my tos symptoms. for a while i thought it was maybe restless leg syndrome but it feels so much more intense than that. it feels like nerve pain, constant and intense nerve pain. similar to my tos pain. i also have indents in my calf muscles that are just permanently there atp. ive tried talking to my parents about this or family friends who are nurses and they all say the same thing: “you eat too much sugar” “youre not stretching enough” “its probably just in your head” which, mind you, is EXACTLY what they said about my tos until i was actually diagnosed. i feel like no one is taking me seriously and im scared. it took me almost a year of begging to get my family to listen and take me to the doctor. i dont know if i can wait that long AGAIN for this. im in pain constantly and im so uncomfortable. it feels like my shoulder and my leg are eating themselves from the inside out. im not sure what to do and any advice would be appreciated.

Mini AG doll hair

Hello all! I just recently got a mini Samantha doll second hand (I believe shes from 2005-2012). Her hair is pretty messy and isn’t in its meet style anymore. I really want to restore it back to its former glory. Any tips? i’ve already washed and detangled it.

Surgery?

Hello all! I have posted a couple of times asking for advice on how to deal with the pain of my TOS. Unfortunately, today i was referred for surgery. I’m really scared. The surgery im getting is a Pec Minor Release / Resection. I would love any advice or guidance on how to get through this. Or just some words of encouragement because im horribly anxious.

Ive been dealing with TOS for almost 1.5 years. i was only diagnosed a couple months ago though. my dr wanted me to do 3 months of PT. im 2 months in and oh boy is it NOT helping.

pre PT my symptoms were very straight forward: pain in my forearm. numbness in my fingers and right above my elbow, weakness. the pain was intermittent and would come and go. i was also very tight, sore, and i had occasional shoulder pain. i had been to the er a handful of times when the pain was level 10 excruciating.

2 months into PT my symptoms are very different: less/almost no pain in my forearm, less numbness in my fingers, still weak, now the pain in my shoulder is absolutely excruciating, like cant get out of bed for 2 days and nauseous because of the pain. (note: its not soreness from exercise, its PAIN. surpassing a level 10). the pain is almost exclusively in my shoulder now and all other progress has plateaued. just today, (ive had a couple of good days) i realized it didnt hurt as much because i can not feel my shoulder. it is completely numb. im really anxious about this. any advice or words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.
