Loaded into Excision and The Witness... Forgot to show up?

It wasn't a bugged private lobby, it was open and a bunch of people started joining. It's been up for the last 20 minutes and I've just been watching as people have been coming and going waiting for the big twink to show up.

The Insects and the Worms of the Garden

In the Unveiling lore book, I noticed this line:

"Insects buzzed between the flowers, and worms slithered between the roots, feeding on what was and what might be, the first gradient in existence, the first dynamo of life"

I thought that at first this was just some nice poetic-sounding filler until I noticed a pattern.

"What was" could represent the light, the physical, and also that which the Winnower culled in the Garden. "What might be" could represent the darkness, the non-physical, a potential that the Winnower makes way for. The Insects could feed on the Light, or the "sky" as they buzzed between the flowers, and the Worms could feed on the Darkness, or the "deep" as they slithered between the roots underground.

The Unveiling lore book is conveyed to us by The Witness via the Shadowkeep Artifact, and based on it being presented to us in the context of our dealings with the Hive and the lunar pyramid, the Witness could be using this passage to describe the way creatures developed in to forms to harness the light and the darkness, and how that pattern of feeding on paracausal forces dates back to the Garden.

The Insects that feed on the light could be the Lucent Moths, which are the Hive's method of harnessing the Light. The Worms that feed on the Darkness are the ones that the Hive use to harness the Darkness.

I'm not making any grand claims with this, I just enjoy finding small connections like this even if they weren't intended to exist. What are your thoughts?

How many Guardians (Destiny 2) would it take to defeat the entire Overwatch roster (Overwatch)

Every single Overwatch hero working together. How many Guardians would be needed to take them all down?

Because Guardians' gear and abilities vary so wildly, I'm going to standardize their load out and say that each Guardian is Prismatic, has an auto rifle, a semi-auto pistol, and a machine gun. The first Guardian that spawns in is a Titan, and with each subsequent Guardian that is needed to defeat the Overwatch heroes (if any) the class cycles to Warlock, Hunter, and back to Titan.

So if it takes three Guardians to fight the Heroes, those three guardians would be a Titan, a Warlock, and a Hunter.

The Overwatch Heroes are able to use all of the abilities they can in-game and that are in the lore.

Battle takes place on one of the plains outside of the Last City. The Heroes and the Guardians are 300 meters away from each other. Neither side is allowed to call for reinforcements of any kind.

(Theory) The Transgression is the memories of Dominus Ghaul.

The region in the Pale Heart to be specific. The points I want to bring up:

- Statues of War Beasts at the entrance, which are important in Cabal culture. There are also a couple statues of Psions later on in the area.

- Architecture very similar to what we see aboard Calus's ship in Lightfall albeit without the black aesthetic of the Pyramids. It could be that this is what elite Cabal architecture looks like and Calus designed his ship to look akin to his old palace when he became a disciple.

- The entrance door to the area is a large palace that's being twisted and knocked over by many hands. Metaphorically this could represent Calus being overthrown.

- Massive mountain of sand/desert right next to it. Torobatl is referenced as having large deserts. The main area of it also looks barren and scorched, and it is referenced in Calus's lore that he had large regions of the planet cleared/made barren. It is possible that this is a memory of the landscape of Torobatl as it is being destroyed by Calus.

- The mission involving Caitl in Final Shape has you fighting shadow legion here, where they have set up pretty extensive operations. Caitl also directly mentions memories of Torobatl when you are in this area.

So the regions of the Pale Heart are manifestations of the memories of the Traveler and the lightbearers. If only there was a member of the Cabal elite who has memories of Torobatl, its great architecture, and it's landscape. Someone who has just so happened to have forcibly connected himself with the Traveler, in some kind of... Transgression.

I am proposing that the Transgression is the manifestation of the memories of Dominus Ghaul that were forcibly imprinted upon the Traveler when he connected himself to the Traveler's Light.

Oh, and there's one more piece of evidence that I omitted for dramatic effect. Right at the beginning of the Transgression, right where the region begins to blend with the memories of our Guardian, there is an altar. On top of this altar, there is a ring. Contained within this ring is a tiny, trapped icon of the Traveler.
