A waiter here in Madrid asked me “quieres algo más?” But it sounded like “quiere algo ma?” And I’ve heard that before and it fucking throws me for a loop.

I have a British passport and a Tarjeta Azul as my residency card. When arriving to passport control when arriving back in Barajas, those with “residencia” are directed to wait in the lines to see the border patrol officers.
Since I have a British passport, is this strictly necessary? Last time the line was so long, I just went to the automatic machines and went straight through.
Just curious if anyone knows the exact rules on this as I travel a lot for work.
