Have bought a house here recently and it’s getting extremely lonely. Barely any friends here, and have disconnected from my toxic parents. I have 5 close friends, all of whom lived in BLR. I was with them for around 2 years before moving to other cities. I stayed in touch and used to hang out with office colleagues, so life was pretty normal.
I moved back to BLR 8 months ago, and now I’m into something which is mostly isolating(money is good), so I barely have a social circle. The bigger problem is that all 5 of my close friends are married now.

One of them got married 5 months ago. Before that, I used to stay at his place Wednesday and spend most weekends with him. Now we meet for dinner sometimes, but it’s only 3–5 hours on some weekends, and then everyone goes back to their lives.

I’m honestly fucking lonely. 😭 I do read, walk a lot like 5-10kms daily, hit the gym, but I’ve so much time don’t know what to do. I don’t know what I should do anymore. I’ve even been thinking about getting a pet just to have some company.
Tbh, I sometimes take SSRIs to deal with the loneliness and the lows. They’ve been helping me, and I know the side effects, which I’m okay with for now.
