A deal-breaker for me + any advice?

Hello, everybody! I want to deepen my understanding of specific denomination's doctrines and the Bible with the Church fathers, using a color e-ink reader (Boox Note Air5 C), which can support the Logos app (mainly because my eyesight is already bad, and I don't want to spend unnecessary time on screen when I can reduce it). However, one big deal-breaker with the Logos app has been not being able to take handwritten notes while reading (as well as highlighting like a real highlighter, creating diagrams to track thoughts, circling words/sentences, etc.). The reason I want Logos is the fact that I can buy bundles/books, and it creates an interconnected workflow where I can pull up other resources easily. Does anyone have the same workflow or have any advice for how I can achieve the same goals in a different manner?

Guys what is happening? (AP Bio)

Hello, everybody! I am a high school sophomore and took AP Bio this year. My school's courseware provider is Edmentum. When reviewing for the end of semester exam, I never knew that I had 4 MORE UNITS than the normal course content. Whenever watching review videos, they always covered 8 units, but I was confused why they never included the diversity of life and animal structure and function units. Does anybody know how this works and what the hell is happening? Apparently, I only need to study 8 units for the AP exam, since that's what the questions are all on, and that is such a relief.

Here are all my units:

First Semester:

  1. Nature of Life
  2. The Chemistry of the Cell
  3. Cell Structures and Functions
  4. Descriptive Genetics
  5. Molecular Genetics
  6. Evolution

Second Semester:

  1. Diversity of Life, Part - 1
  2. Diversity of Life, Part - 2
  3. Plant Structure and Function
  4. Animal Structure and Function, Part - 1
  5. Animal Structure and Function, Part - 2
  6. Ecology

If God can freely forgive, why did Jesus have to die?

Hey everyone, this was a question I was pondering about for a while. If God can freely forgive our sins, why did Jesus have to die, doesn't him forgiving us solve our problem of spiritual death?

Where does the Ecological Restoration bachelor's program take place?

Hello, everybody. I am finishing my sophomore year of high school and was looking into the Trent University ecological restoration program. I got confused because on the page it says you study at the Peterborough campus, but after further research its saying the first two years are spent at Fleming College as a joint degree program, and then you are transferred to Trent for the two last years. I tried asking AI and he was just as confused as me, if anybody knows, please inform me, thank you.

(Edit for those in the future):

The joint-degree from Fleming-Trent stopped in 2024. You can read more about it here

The program will now be fully delivered by Trent (meaning all four years are at Trent's Peterborough campus).

You can read about it here

A quote:

>Shortly before the conference’s end, co-organizer Tom Whillans announced that the Restoration Ecology program, previously a joint diploma/degree program with Fleming College, would return to Trent University as a four-year degree program in fall 2026. The program would give students the opportunity to earn an accreditation from the International Society for Ecological Restoration in addition to their degree.

Hope this helps :)
