I miss her so much it hurts

Anything from my girl? Sometimes I feel desperate to hear anything from her. She passed in May and I have only had nightmares about her since. I miss her so much it still hurts every single day. I feel I have seen some signs from her but not many.

The guilt of not crying every day.

It’s been about two months. I’m mostly still in denial just to get through the day. But when I remember her I am still sad. Sometimes I cry. Sometimes I don’t. I feel like her memory is fading and I feel guilty.
I tell my partner I miss her; and he says yes me too. And that’s usually it.

It’s hard to come to terms with the fact that the days and the grief are getting easier? If that makes sense. I still miss her I still grieve her. She was my BABY, my whole identity was having this dog. My world revolved around her.

I feel horrible moving through things without her, and realizing that I’m not crying about it all the time.

I’m not sure if I understand it myself

No one wants to talk about it anymore…

It’s been about a month and I’m still really struggling. Her fur is disappearing around the house. The photos are farther and farther in my camera roll.

Everyone tries to ask how I’m doing and I when I’m honest and tell them I’m struggling they quickly change the subject when all I want to do is talk about her. I want to talk about how great she was, how chill and sweet she was, how she never left my side even when I was cooking and tripping over her and a little annoyed she was ALWAYS there.

I live with a certain amount of denial to get through the day and then get home to not see her there is a gut punch. I JUST MISS MY BABY. I’m so frustrated. I thought I had YEARS with her left. She was sick and the onset was fast and I keep replaying in my head if I could have noticed it sooner. I knew she was slowing down but I just thought it was her age.

How do you come to terms with never seeing them again. I love seeing pictures of her but I hate seeing pictures of her cause it’s just a reminder that I don’t get her.

I miss her stinky breath, the weight of her on my legs. The way she would just put her head on my thigh when I laid down. I miss her snoring. It doesn’t get easier it doesn’t get better. She’s the only one I want to see.

I feel like she’s fading away and grabbing on to her memory for dear life to keep that from happening.

When does it feel real.

It’s been almost a month. I still don’t really believe it, until I’m alone in the house and she’s not following me. Or I peer over to her ashes. I’ve been sleeping with a weighted blanket on my legs to feel like she’s still there because the bed feels light without her. I feel like I’m going through the motions of my day and then all of a sudden I will remember she’s gone and it doesn’t feel like reality. People keep bringing her up to me and it hits me all over again.
Is it normal to completely block it out until reality smacks you back. Idk how to move forward without her.

Just picked up her ashes.

I can’t even look at them. I just am thinking about someone putting her little body in there and then the heat coming. My world is upside down right now. Please tell me it gets easier. I had a nightmare last night that she died in my arms. I miss her every second.

Is she at peace

This week has been horrible. I’m an absolute wreck. I just want to know that she’s at peace and I made the right decision. I miss her so much. I feel like wherever she is she’s scared I’m not with her.

My 10 year old frenchie started breathing rapidly last week after a few vet visits and a lot of meds we found out fluid was building in her chest. We had to say goodbye yesterday morning.

I’m sick with guilt. What if they were wrong? What if she had years left?

My baby. My soul dog. Nothing feels real. I haven’t been alone in a house for 9 years. I don’t know how to be home without her. Idk how to do this. I have a weighted blanket on my legs to feel like she’s still sleeping on me. I have rashes under my eyes from crying. I miss her so much
