Adrien hugged her, feeling their bodies sway together in the darkness.

**—I know it hurts—** he whispered. **—It hurts so much it feels like it will never end.**

I'm very disappointed in Thomas Astruc for making Alya Cesaire Marinette's enemy, and you know what? Alya shouldn't be the new guardian of the Ladybug Miraculous, and Marinette and Marinette should be together again.

Hello, I'm Carlos Uriel Sanchez Campos, I'm a fan of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, and I live in Ciudad Guzman, Jalisco, Mexico. The death of Alya Cesaire could change the ending of season 7 and the beginning of season 8. It seems her friends Marinette and Adrien will suffer Alya Cesaire's passing after the end of season 7 and the beginning of season 8. This will occur in the last two episodes of season 7, the title of which is still unconfirmed, but it's based on Alya Cesaire being injured after her defeat of Lila/Chrysalis while emerging from the rubble. Meanwhile, Adrien Agreste learns that his father, Gabriel Agreste, was a monarch. Suddenly, everything is interrupted when Alya collapses to the ground from her severe injuries after being rescued from the rubble. Alya then detransforms from Rena Rouge and begins to lay dying in bed. Adrien (Cat Noir) and Marinette (Ladybug) are shocked, and unfortunately, Marinette loses the chance for Alya to be the next Guardian of the Galaxy. In the Ladybug Miraculous, Alya asks Marinette to come so they can have a second chance, make amends, share one last friendly hug, and above all, become friends again and rejoin the Miraculous team. Alya tells Marinette she loves them very much, sharing a team spirit like the Miraculous heroes. Suddenly, the Miraculous friends reconcile, and Marinette and Alya make up again before Alya goes to heaven. Marinette/Ladybug suddenly starts crying uncontrollably at Alya's passing. Adrien/Cat Noir also joins in the grief, and all their Miraculous friends are overcome with emotion, sobbing uncontrollably. They have no choice but to gather at Marinette's house: her parents, Marinette, Adrien, and their friends: Kagami, Juleka, Luka, Alix, Felix, Kim, Nino, Rose, and Prem. Then, Marinette's friends gather in the living room, very sad, to remember their great experiences: when Ladybug gave Alya the Fox Miraculous and Trixx appeared when she transformed into Rena Rouge, and the beautiful good and bad moments of Alya and Marinette and their friends: Kagami, Juleka, Luka, Alix, Felix, Kim, Nino, Rose, Prem, Marc, Nathaniel, Ivan, Max, Mylene, Zoe, family, and loved ones. At her funeral, Marinette approaches the coffin, opens it with trembling hands, and sees Alya lying inside, dressed in a formal journalist's suit, as if she were a reflection of herself. of a dream cut short before it could be fulfilled. Her body can no longer endure the damage she has taken.

Just as she steps free from the rubble, Alya suddenly collapses due to her severe injuries and exhaustion, leaving Marinette and the rest of the team in shock.

As Marinette holds her best friend in her arms, she is forced to face an impossible reality: even Ladybug cannot save everyone.

Alya’s final moments become a heartbreaking farewell filled with forgiveness, friendship, and love. She reminds Marinette and the Miraculers that they are not just heroes, but a family bound by trust and unity.

Her loss leaves the entire team shattered, but instead of breaking apart, the Miraculers come together to honor her memory. Through grief, they rediscover the strength of their bond and the meaning of being heroes beyond battles and victories.

Season 8 would then begin in a Paris that is slowly healing, where Alya’s legacy as Rena Rouge continues to inspire Marinette, Adrien, and the rest of the team. Her absence becomes a guiding light, pushing them to grow stronger, more honest, and more united than ever before.

This theory explores how loss, friendship, and reconciliation could shape the emotional future of the Miraculous universe.

🦊 Alya Césaire's Final Battle

After Alya's confrontation with Lila/Cerise, also known as Chrysalis, the battle finally comes to an end.

Alya discovers the devastating truth surrounding Gabriel Agreste and his past as Monarch. Everything seems to be changing at once.

But as she escapes from the collapsing battlefield, emerging from the broken debris and shattered ruins, her body finally gives in. The injuries she sustained during the fight are far more severe than she was able to endure.

Just as she steps out of the rubble, Alya collapses due to her severe injuries and complete exhaustion.

Marinette rushes toward her, terrified.

For Marinette, Alya has always been much more than another hero. She has been her best friend, her confidante, her partner, and one of the people who helped her become Ladybug.

Marinette had even imagined that Alya could someday become a permanent successor or substitute holder of the Ladybug Miraculous. However, in that moment, as Alya weakens in her arms, Marinette begins to lose that illusion—realizing that the future she had once imagined for Alya as the next Guardian of the Ladybug Miraculous may never come to be.

Now, that dream seems to be disappearing.

💔 One Last Second Chance

Before everything is over, Alya asks Marinette to come closer.

She wants one last chance.

One last opportunity for them to forgive each other.

Marinette takes Alya's hand.

They finally reconcile.

They embrace as best friends one last time.

Alya looks toward the Miraculers—the friends who have fought beside her—and reminds Marinette that she loves them deeply.

She tells her that the Miraculers are more than a group of heroes.

They are a team.

They are friends.

They are family.

And their love for one another is what makes them strong.

For a final moment, Marinette and Alya are simply two best friends together again.

Then Marinette realizes that she is losing Alya.

Ladybug can fight villains.

Ladybug can save Paris.

But this time, she cannot save the person she loves.

🐞🐈‍⬛ The Miraculers Face Their Greatest Loss

Alya's death would leave Marinette devastated.

Adrien, as Cat Noir, would also struggle to find the words to comfort her.

The other Miraculers—including Kagami, Juleka, Luka, Alix, Félix, Kim, Nino, Rose, Mylène, Ivan, Max, Zoé, Nathaniel, Marc, Sabrina, and the other people closest to Alya—would all experience the loss differently.

But they would remain together.

Instead of allowing grief to destroy their friendship, they would gather at Marinette's home.

They would remember Alya.

They would remember her laughter.

Her courage.

Her determination.

Her journalism.

Her friendship with Marinette.

And, most importantly, the day Ladybug entrusted Alya with the Fox Miraculous.

They would remember the moment Trixx appeared and Alya became Rena Rouge.

They would remember her victories, her mistakes, her jokes, her arguments, her sacrifices, and all the memories that made Alya who she was.

🕊️ A Farewell to Alya

The funeral would become one of the most emotional sequences of the story.

During the ceremony, Marinette would approach Alya's coffin with trembling hands.

She would look at her best friend one final time and remember the girl who once dreamed of becoming an extraordinary journalist.

Alya would be dressed formally, symbolizing the future she had dreamed of but never had the opportunity to complete.

Marinette would gently touch her face while remembering everything they experienced together.

The funeral ceremony at Notre-Dame de Paris would bring together Alya's friends, family, and loved ones.

Each person would have the opportunity to say goodbye.

Kagami.

Juleka.

Luka.

Alix.

Félix.

Kim.

Nino.

Rose.

Mylène.

Ivan.

Max.

Zoé.

Nathaniel.

Marc.

Sabrina.

And everyone else who loved Alya.

🌹 Marinette's Speech

Finally, Marinette would stand before everyone.

She would speak about their friendship.

About how Alya was there when Marinette needed someone.

About how Alya believed in Ladybug.

About how she became Rena Rouge.

About all the times they laughed.

About the times they disagreed.

And about how, despite everything, they found their way back to each other.

Marinette would end her speech with a heartbreaking expression:

Then she would place a rose beside Alya's coffin.

The funeral would conclude with a quiet musical atmosphere inspired by the emotional power of Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart", creating a symbolic farewell rather than focusing on graphic or disturbing imagery.

🤝 Adrien and Marinette: A New Promise

After Alya's funeral, Adrien would stay beside Marinette.

He would not try to magically erase her pain.

Instead, he would simply be there.

He would listen.

He would support her.

And he would remind her that she doesn't have to face everything alone.

Their relationship would become stronger because of what happened.

After everything that happened following the events of "Némesis," Marinette and Adrien would finally forgive each other.

They would promise one another:

"We will never let ourselves become separated again."

Not because they are superheroes.

Not because they are Ladybug and Cat Noir.

But because they are Marinette and Adrien.

Two people who have chosen to stand together.

🌅 SEASON 8: A NEW BEGINNING

Season 8 would begin with Paris slowly recovering.

The Miraculers would still miss Alya.

Her absence would never simply disappear.

But her memory would become a source of strength.

The heroes would continue protecting Paris because that is what Alya would have wanted.

Marinette would continue being Ladybug.

Adrien would continue being Cat Noir.

And their friends would continue supporting them.

My intention is not to say that this WILL happen in Season 7.

This is my personal fanfiction proposal for what could happen between the end of Season 7 and the beginning of Season 8.

I imagine it as a story that would give the Miraculous characters an emotional turning point.

Alya's legacy as Rena Rouge could become an important part of the future.

Marinette and Adrien could finally learn that their relationship cannot be sacrificed by secrets and misunderstandings.

And the Miraculers could demonstrate that being heroes is not only about defeating villains.

Sometimes, being a hero means staying together when life becomes difficult.

My idea begins during the final two episodes of Season 7, whose official titles have not been confirmed in this theory.

Alya Césaire has just survived her confrontation with Lila/Cerise, also known as Chrysalis, And also that they saved Paris with the help of Ladybug and Cat Noir.

At the same time, Marinette is struggling with the feeling that she betrayed Alya, while Adrien is dealing with the devastating truth about his father, Gabriel Agreste, and his identity as Monarch.

Suddenly, everything stops.

Alya collapses.

Marinette desperately tries to help her friend, realizing that she may be losing someone who has been one of the most important people in her life.

Marinette had once imagined Alya becoming an important future successor and protector of the Miraculous legacy. But now, that hope begins to disappear.

Alya asks Marinette to come closer.

Instead of anger, they choose forgiveness.

Alya returns the Fox Miraculous and asks Marinette to take good care of Trixx.

Then Alya and Marinette finally reconcile.

They hug one last time as best friends.

Alya tells Marinette that she wants them to become friends again and that she wants to return to the Miraculers—their group of friends and fellow heroes.

Her final message would be something like:

Marinette promises that she will never forget her.

## 🐞 Ladybug and Cat Noir Face the Loss

After Alya's final moments, Marinette/Ladybug breaks down in tears.

Nino, Kagami, Juleka, Luka, Alix, Félix, Kim, Rose, Mylène, Ivan, Max, Zoé, Marc, Nathaniel, Prem, their families, and everyone who loved Alya would have to confront the painful reality of losing her.

For Marinette, this would be especially difficult because Alya was more than a superhero partner.

She was her best friend.

## 🏠 A Night of Memories

After the tragedy, Marinette, Adrien, and their friends gather together at the Dupain-Cheng home.

Instead of focusing only on sadness, they remember Alya's life.

They remember the moment Ladybug entrusted Alya with the Fox Miraculous.

They remember Trixx appearing for the first time.

They remember Alya becoming Rena Rouge.

They remember the victories, the mistakes, the arguments, the reconciliations, the jokes, the battles, and all the ordinary moments that made their friendship meaningful.

The following sequence would take place during a fictional funeral ceremony at **Notre-Dame de Paris**.

Marinette and Alya's friends would have the opportunity to say goodbye.

Kagami, Juleka, Luka, Alix, Félix, Kim, Nino, Rose, Prem, Marc, Nathaniel, Ivan, Max, Mylène, Zoé, family members, and other loved ones could each remember Alya in their own way.

Marinette would eventually give a speech about their friendship.

She would remember how Alya supported her, how they became partners, how they sometimes disagreed, and how they eventually learned to forgive each other.

Marinette's final words could be inspired by the emotional phrase:

She would then place a rose on Alya's coffin as the ceremony comes to an end.

For the soundtrack, I imagine a dramatic instrumental/funeral-style arrangement inspired by **Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart"**, rather than reproducing any lyrics.

The sequence would remain emotional and respectful, without graphic or disturbing imagery.

## 🌅 The Beginning of Season 8

Season 8 would then begin with a completely different emotional atmosphere.

Paris is still grieving, but Marinette, Adrien, their families, and the Miraculers slowly begin finding:

**peace, comfort, unconditional support, reconciliation, friendship, fraternity, love, and hope.**

Alya's memory becomes part of their motivation to continue protecting Paris.

Ladybug and Cat Noir return to their mission.

The Miraculers continue standing together.

They do not forget Alya.

Instead, they carry her memory forward.

## ❤️ Marinette and Adrien: A Promise Never to Separate Again

One of the most important developments I would like to see at the beginning of Season 8 is the reconciliation between Marinette and Adrien after everything connected to the events of the fictional "Nemesis" storyline.

After experiencing such a painful loss, they finally understand how fragile their relationships can be.

Adrien approaches Marinette and offers her his unconditional support.

Marinette realizes that she does not have to face everything alone.

They forgive one another.

They promise to communicate honestly, support each other, and never allow another misunderstanding to destroy their friendship.

Finally, they make a promise:

> **"No matter what happens, we will never let ourselves be separated again."**

And they embrace.

For me, that would represent the true beginning of Season 8:

**not the end of their story, but a new beginning.**

Afterward, I imagine an emotional tribute where Marinette, Adrien, Nino, Kagami, Luka, Juleka, Alix, Félix, Kim, Rose, Marc, Nathaniel, Ivan, Max, Mylène, Zoé, Prem, and their families and friends recall all the adventures, happy moments, and hardships they shared with Alya.

In this new beginning, the love between Adrien and Marinette blossoms without barriers; they make up for lost time and build a deeper, more sincere connection, allowing "Adrienette" to be reborn like never before.

My Miraculous Fanfiction Theory for the End of Season 7 and the Beginning of Season 8

Hello everyone!

My name is Carlos Uriel Sánchez Campos, and I am a Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir fan from Ciudad Guzmán, Jalisco, Mexico.

Today I would like to share one of the biggest fanfiction ideas that has come to my mind. This is not a leak, spoiler, or official information. It is simply my personal theory and a creative proposal that I would love to share with fellow Miraculous fans around the world.

My Theory

I imagine an emotional ending for Season 7 and a hopeful beginning for Season 8.

In my story, after Chrysalis is finally defeated during the last two episodes of Season 7 (whose official titles have not yet been announced), Alya Césaire is critically injured during the battle.

Everyone would remember the good and bad times they shared with Alya, understanding that those experiences helped strengthen their friendship.

The Funeral

My idea includes a religious ceremony and a respectful funeral, where friends and family pay tribute to Alya.

During the ceremony, the characters would reminisce about their best moments with her and express their gratitude for everything she did for each of them.

As background music, I envision an instrumental or ceremonial version of "Total Eclipse of the Heart" by Bonnie Tyler, used solely as an emotional device within this fictional story.

The Beginning of Season 8

After the tragedy, Season 8 would show a new beginning for Marinette, Adrien, their families, and their friends.

Little by little, they would find:

Peace.

Comfort.

Unconditional support.

Brotherhood.

Reconciliation.

Love.

Hope.

Strength to move forward.

Paris would rise again thanks to the legacy Alya left in them all.

Message for the Creators

I would like this proposal to one day reach Thomas Astruc, Jeremy Zag, the teams at ZAG, Dwarf Animation Studio, and the entire fan community.

This is not a request to change the official storyline, but rather to share a fanfiction idea born from the love and respect I feel for Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir.

In my heart, as well as in the hearts of many 'Miraculous Ladybug' fans, Alya Césaire is more than just another character. During season 7, we had the opportunity to witness her reconciliation with Marinette and the powerful return of their friendship. This special bond touched our souls and added a profound emotional layer to the series. However, the announcement of her passing at the beginning of season 8 has left us in disbelief and devastated.

Alya, holder of the Fox Miraculous and transformed into Rena Rouge, forged an indelible legacy with her courage, skill, and charisma. Every moment she shared with Marinette, her friends, and loved ones testified to her strength and heart. Her adventures brought joy, comfort, and hope to us all.

Her departure is more than a loss for her fictional friends; it is an open wound for the fan community that cherishes her presence and bravery. Alya taught us to fight for our place, to reconcile, and to value true friendship.

I urge the producers of 'Miraculous Ladybug' to reconsider this decision. It is vital that Alya continues to inspire us on screen, bringing peace, comfort, encouragement, and happiness through her stories and her legacy. A character with such an impact deserves to continue shining in the series and in our hearts.
