"play once per day" not functioning?

I have EX animations set to play at standard speed once per day, but recently they have playing at standard speed regardless. The same thing has been happening with active skills and intros.

Okayyy now that the episodes been released, I can finally ask the question WHAT DO THESE DOORS MEAN?! WHY ARE THEY CHAINED?! WHY DID HE SCREAM SHUT UP?

My first thought was that it's Pomni and Ribbit's room but I'm not sure the placing lines up in the circus. But its the only thing that makes sense. What do you think?
